Great first time experience, very good customer service from JB and Saif. They were not hovering, gave us the time to browse and were available when we needed assistance.
On-time delivery and professional assembly
We were not told to measure entrance into my home. Delivery guys were not happy. Furniture had to be returned. Had to go back to the store to choose something else and take time off work for the second time.
What a terrible delivery and fulfillment experience. I purchased what is supposed to be a beautiful dining room set and have had to refuse delivery TWICE. I will never get back the time and stress wasted on this process. The delivery team and the warehouse responsible for handling/assembly truly don't seem to care about protecting the products you purchase and fail to treat them with very basic care. The items arrive damaged, scuffed up, or dirty. The delivery teams routinely mishandle white upholstery and touch the fabric directly with dirty gloves or rest their tools on them. So much for "white glove" delivery. The delivery/warehouse staff also try to convince you into keeping the items and having them "serviced" later, as opposed to sending them back. Brand new furniture should never require repair/service before it's even used. I'll accept delivery when you send me products that are in brand-new condition. Maybe inspect them at your warehouse first before you send them to my house and waste everyone's time and energy. My advice to the retailer: the customer doesn't care if the issue was with your supplier or your warehouse or your delivery team. You need quality control every step of the way because ultimately it is your brand that's on the line. Do better. My advice to potential customers: you're no worse off ordering something from Wayfair. In both cases you don't know what you're going to get anyway, so maybe you can at least save some money.
ASHLEY HOMESTORE HEARTLAND I had a great experience dealing with Saif he was very patient and helpful in helping us out to choose our couch and table. Answered all our questions . The store manager Sam is extremely nice and polite. Overall i would shop for all my furniture at this location due to the wonderful service that was delivered. From buying to the delivery team. Everyone was helpful and polite.
Sales rep was very nice and helpful. The delivery crew was very clean and quick. Satisfied overall with service.
***Update: Following the below review Ashley furniture customer care team reached out and settled the issue. Updated the review following the resolution. I wish this was settled months ago without me having to write this. ***DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP IF YOU HAVE LOVE FOR YOUR MONEY*** My experience with Ashley Furniture has been nothing short of infuriating, and I strongly regret ever purchasing from them. We bought a bed and a cabinet, and during delivery the movers **damaged my brand‑new floor**, which had been installed just **two days** earlier. The delivery team arrived without the proper equipment, couldn’t get their dolly into the house, and ended up dragging extremely heavy furniture across the floor. They even removed the cardboard protectors *inside the truck* instead of using them to protect the flooring. To make matters worse, the delivery team **never performed a pre‑delivery inspection**. They walked straight into the house with the furniture. But the moment they noticed the damage they caused, they suddenly took photos and later submitted them as if the floor had been damaged *before* they arrived. This was blatantly false and incredibly dishonest. Communication was another major issue. The delivery team **did not speak English** and repeatedly spoke to me in a foreign language in a rude and dismissive manner, making the entire situation even more stressful and unprofessional. When I reported the damage, customer care initially claimed they would escalate it to the delivery office management and that someone from the delivery center would call me. That story quickly changed — suddenly only the customer care team would communicate with me, and the delivery team simply **denied the claim**. Despite the floor being brand new and the damage happening right in front of them, Ashley sided with the delivery team without any real investigation. After **weeks** of back‑and‑forth, Ashley’s customer service dismissed the issue entirely and told me that if I wanted the floor repaired, I should “go take legal action.” No accountability, no responsibility, no willingness to help. I then contacted the store where I purchased the items, and they were equally unhelpful. They claimed that once the items are picked up for delivery, they have **no liability** and can’t do anything — including the salesperson, Aman Baja, who sold me the items. Essentially, if the delivery team denies your claim, **you’re completely on your own**, no matter how legitimate your complaint is. This experience has shown me that Ashley Furniture’s customer care and store support offer **zero protection** for customers when something goes wrong. If the delivery team refuses responsibility, Ashley will simply wash their hands of the situation. I strongly advise others to think twice before buying from them. **And if you think I’m exaggerating, just do a quick Google search. There are Reddit threads, Facebook groups, and countless posts from customers who’ve gone through the exact same thing. I wish I had seen them before making my purchase. Please do your own research before going to Ashley’s — it might save you from the headache I’m dealing with now.**
