Absolutely Terrible Experience and After-Sales Service This is hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a furniture retailer. I spent over $10,000 at Ashley HomeStore, and I deeply regret it. The first major disappointment was the quality of the furniture delivered to us. The items we received were far below the quality and standard of the furniture we saw and selected in the store. The finishing on the pieces was extremely poor and did not reflect what we were shown in the showroom. When you spend that much on furniture, you expect the products delivered to your home to look and feel like the products you were sold in the store. We had issues with two of the items immediately after delivery. I went to the store the very next day to report the problems, expecting them to stand behind what they had sold us. Instead, I was directed to contact Guest Care. Since then, I have called Guest Care multiple times and submitted the claim form multiple times, yet I have received no response or follow-up. What makes this even more frustrating is that I paid a significant amount for a 5-year extended warranty on all the items we purchased. I specifically paid for additional protection because I expected that if something went wrong, Ashley would be there to address it. Instead, getting someone to even respond has been an exhausting process. I also emailed the sales representative who sold us the furniture. He never responded. The contrast is extremely disappointing: there was plenty of attention when we were making a $10,000+ purchase, but once the sale was completed and we needed help with the products we received, the level of customer service completely disappeared. This is not acceptable! I even discussed my experience with a family friend, and they shared their own negative experience with Ashley. Unfortunately, hearing a similar story made me question whether this was simply an isolated experience. I deeply regret patronizing Ashley HomeStore. For a purchase of this size, customers should be able to expect quality products, accurate representation of what they are purchasing, responsive customer service, and a company that stands behind its products and warranties. My experience has fallen short on all of these fronts. Ashley HomeStore has completely lost my trust. I will never purchase anything from them again. If you are considering spending a significant amount of money here, look very carefully at the quality of what is actually delivered and consider what your experience might be if you need help after the sale. I am giving 1 star because I can’t give zero.

Went in to look at some dining room suites and ended up buying one. Was told it will be in by mid September which was good with us. But on September 6th we received a email that our order would be delivered on September 11th. which surprised us but great. So we cancelled our Long weekend get away with friends and had to lose some money for cancelling our rooms but we were getting our new dining room suite. So we stayed home all day Friday & Saturday . I finally got fed up and texted our salesperson and he said oh that's AI generated and we shouldn't have believed it we should have listened to what he said. So i asked why would his company send out wrong information and again it was AI generated but his manager was going to look into it. So now I'm very disappointed with this purchase and how it was handled so i said lets just cancel my order and we will go somewhere else. The salesperson tried to talk me out of it by offering me a $100.00 discount and i just said reimburse my credit card. So i went in on September 7th and he said it would be 3-5 business days for it to show up on my card. I texted him on September 14th and was told that someone form head office would call me on that day or the next day still no call and no return on my credit card . it's now September 15th and still waiting . Very Very Poor way to run a business !!!! Would Not Recommend !!!!!

Never buy from Ashley's! Not only did they fail to deliver my couch twice, on the third attempt, the couch did not fit into my apartment building after being ensured by the salesperson they would have no trouble moving the couch in. I have been left without somewhere to sit for over a month now, and have taken three days off work for all these failed deliveries. Futhermore, the store suggested they deliver the matching ottoman I ordered, come to find out now that I wont be allowed to return it. Very disappointed in their customer service. My local store was no help and would only beat around the bush when I asked for an honest answer. When I phoned the customer service line, the worker was very short with me and could not offer me any compensation besides free delivery for all the inconvenience. When I attempted to return the couch, all that could be offered was a store credit or my money back with a percentage going back to the company. All I want is my money back and this nightmare to be over! I was never planning on writing a review but Ashley Furniture has been one of the hardest companies to deal with.

I am dealing with Nick in Saskatoon and he is being super with his customer service. I and my wife have spoken with Ashley head office over the past year and they are stalling every which way that they can. It is getting frustrating trying to use the insurance we purchased on the furniture that we bought. Once again thanks to Nick for your help.

It was terrible, was told a bunch of lies just so they could sell me a couch, I was told 7-10 days and now I have to wait over a month to receive my order. We bought our couch about 2 years ago and unfortunately, it is already completely falling apart. When we purchased it, we were sold on how amazing the couch was, the “new technology” used to build it, and how it was supposed to be extremely durable and last for years. Unfortunately, that has been far from our experience. The main wooden frame has completely snapped in half, the zippers have fallen off, the seams have ripped apart, and the webbing underneath that supports the cushions has completely ripped, leaving the couch with almost no support. We also now have wires sticking out, which is extremely concerning and makes the couch unsafe to use. What has made this even more frustrating is trying to get a straight answer from customer service. It has been almost impossible to speak with someone who can actually help. One person told us that someone would come out to repair it, but they couldn't even tell us when. Everyone seems to be acting like this is completely normal for a couch to fall apart after only two years. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of this couch and with how this situation has been handled. Even if someone eventually comes to repair it, we're potentially left without a usable couch for weeks or even months because we trusted what we were told about the quality and durability when we bought it. For something that was marketed as high quality and built to last, this is completely unacceptable.
