If I could give no star at all I wouldn’t ….. We had a very disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture in Saskatoon. My elderly grandparents purchased a brand new washer and dryer set, expecting a smooth stressfree process. The appliances were delivered, but the dryer did not work from the very first day. It kept stopping every few minutes. We notified Ashley the same day it was delivered, well within their stated timelines. Instead of receiving proper support, we were given the runaround. The issue was dismissed and treated as if it wasn’t Ashley’s responsibility.There was very little communication or guidance on next steps. Installation, which was discussed at the time of purchase, was not completed, adding even more frustration…… Because of the lack of support from the store, I ultimately had to take it upon myself to contact the manufacturer directly to resolve the issue. The manufacturer confirmed the dryer was defective and arranged a replacement something Ashley should have helped facilitate from the start. This entire situation unfolded over a very short period of time and could have been handled much better with basic customer care, communication, and accountability. Watching my grandparents stress over phone calls, store visits, and follow-ups was extremely disappointing, especially when the issue was reported immediately…… Ashley had many opportunities to offer support or assistance and failed to do so. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Ashley Furniture if you’re expecting reliable customer service when something goes wrong.

The couch we finally received is great. However, the customer service and experience we had was horrific. I have never dealt with a more unorganized and unprofessional company in my life. We had the unpleasant experience of dealing with Magesh, who was incredibly disorganized and rude throughout this whole process. He was very hard to contact and get any information from, which was surprising considering the whole time we were in store trying to place our order and pay, he was answering about 30 phone calls instead of helping us, making us wait on him numerous times. He then scheduled our delivery for a day the warehouse was CLOSED. How do you not know your store’s warehouse is closed?? On top of that, no one ever told us. We wasted a whole day sitting at home waiting for this delivery whom we had no contact info for, and after hours I finally called Magesh where he rudely said “No one told you? It’s not coming today.” Extremely unprofessional how no one even bothered to contact us and waste our whole day. Overall, the new scheduled delivery date was a week and a half later, and we were supposed to be the first one, however somehow we wasted another whole day and ended up being the last delivery, all the while trying to chase them down the whole day trying to get an update, which was near impossible.

Waiting for my furniture delivery even after more than 2 months of purchase. Everytime I call I just hear they will work on priority and let me know the expected date. Nothing yet. Only sells. No after service. However their customer service department is very effective and shorted out the things very quickly. Thanks.
