Absolutely horrible. I will never recommend Ashley Home Store to anyone. I ordered a bed and dresser on May 8, 2026, costing over $5,000.00. Delivery was to be May 22, 2026. May 22 came and nothing showed. I pulled the business card out "Nick" gave me, telling me to call him anytime, only to be met with a rude "I'm not working, call the store". I work my way through the phone maize of Ashley "customer service", only to be told the salesman (Nick) never scheduled delivery. The soonest they could deliver would be June 5. June 5 comes, the delivery guys are very good, but only the mattress and bed frame arrive. No dresser. I pointed out to them that with the layout of the room the dresser clearly needs to go in first, then the bed. With the dresser coming later, either they will have to negotiate the 300 lb dresser over the bed, over remove and replace the bed. After they left I lay on the bed and the first thing I noticed was the bed was much firmer than the bed I tried and tested. Looking over the bed there is absolutely no indication of a model number on the labels. I honestly believe they delivered the wrong mattress, sending a 'firm' rather than a 'plush'. I immediately phoned 'customer service', only to be told its impossible for them to make a mistake and they delivered the right mattress. I ask them how they prove it's the right model since there is no labels and they took all the packaging with them, they just point to their paperwork. I point out Google tells me of several tales of Sterns & Foster putting wrong labels on packages. I go to the store on June 8 and of course "Nick" is not there. I also find I am wasting my time as nobody in the store is willing or able to assist. They hand me a phone and dial 'customer service'. I go through the same thing again that it's the wrong mattress, being passed around to four different people. In the end they say they are unwilling to do anything and I have to wait 30 days to file a customer satisfaction guarantee claim. Not only that, I'm told that if the price of the right mattress has changed by then I'd have to pay the difference. I said BS to that. I told them, all I'm asking is them to send someone to my house and prove to me they delivered the right mattress. My old one is the same model in plush and it was never as firm as this one is. Fast forward to June 19 and I call about the dresser again. This time they say they can deliver it June 26. Fine. June 24 I get a text saying delivery is scheduled for 2:30 to 5:30 and I would get a text when they 'start their route'. By 5:00 I hear nothing so I look through the text messages and notice their is a link to the order. I click the link only to be taken to a delivery slip that sales "canceled". No reason and they didn't even have the courtesy to notify me. I call the 800 number, work through the maize and of course they can't tell me anything, but can reschedule delivery for July 2. Frustration doesn't even begin to describe how I'm feeling. I will never shop at Ashley Home Store again and will never recommend them to anyone. I still have no dresser and have a mattress that is the wrong one.
We had a great conversation and deal from Nick! Very pleasant and helpful.
Great service, great help finding what I was looking for.Chris did a great job of explaining the available promotions.i have been a customer of Ashley’s in the past and looking forward to future purchases.
Ordered a mattress for my daughter’s room. We were told it would take a week. After a week and no updates I called and was told it would be another week. Same thing, no updates. So I called again and was told “hopefully in 2 weeks and that the sales associates have no way of knowing when it would come they just go by what their system says” Sounds like this is a common problem for them so they shouldn’t say a week when they know full well it will be longer
The furniture quality is good, but the after-sales service is extremely disappointing. We ordered a sofa and two accent chairs on March 1, 2026 and opted for partial delivery because the two accent chairs were not yet in stock. We waited for almost two months, bec the delivery was repeatedly rescheduled due to stock unavailability. We were then advised by the manager to change our order, so we selected another style. Unfortunately, we waited another 10 weeks due to repeated delivery delays, with explanations such as manufacturer delays or third-party issues (in the end,we decided to cancel r order) This experience has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. Hearing the staff say that it is “not within their control” is even more unreasonable. As customers, we expect the company to take responsibility, provide accurate updates, and offer proper solutions. We also ordered a dining set in March 2026, but 4 out of 6 chairs arrived defective. The repair process was delayed, and the replacement process has also been delayed up to this date. Management seriously needs to review their system and improve their after-sales service. The repeated promises of delivery dates, only to receive an apology on the actual delivery day due to another delay, have been very frustrating. The lack of proper coordination, communication, and accountability has greatly affected our experience as customers. We hope this feedback will be taken seriously and that meaningful improvements will be made to prevent other customers from experiencing the same issues.
Dealing with Christopher was so easy. I knew what we wanted and was able to do everything without any issues.
I had a very disappointing experience at Ashley HomeStore Saskatoon, largely because of a salesperson named Sanni. My family recently purchased a new house, and we came to Ashley intending to buy a significant amount of new furniture. As soon as we walked in, Sanni greeted us and then proceeded to follow us around the store the entire time, which made us feel very uncomfortable. We wanted the chance to browse and discuss furniture among ourselves, but it felt like we were constantly being watched and pressured. Whenever we stopped to look at a piece of furniture for even a short time, he immediately began pushing for a sale. Instead of listening to what we were actually looking for, he repeatedly tried to steer us toward products we weren't interested in and attempted to rush us into making decisions. Buying furniture is a major purchase, and we wanted time to consider our options without feeling pressured. After leaving Ashley, we visited Leon's and Urban Barn, where the experience was completely different. The staff were helpful, respectful, and allowed us to browse without constantly pushing products on us. As a result, we felt much more comfortable shopping there. Overall, this experience left a very negative impression of Ashley HomeStore Saskatoon. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I would strongly recommend that management address these aggressive sales tactics, and I would personally avoid dealing with Sanni in the future.
Jot was amazing! She explained everything clearly, was very patient, and helped us find the mattress we really wanted. She made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Thank you for your kindness and excellent service
