Pricing does not appear to be competitive. Difficult to price compare mattresses as each of the big stores has "exclusive" mattresses, so not Ashley alone boasts this. Doubtful that this is totally factual as it would be a waste for the manufacturers. Some questions regarding product were not able to be answered by anyone in the store. If you are interested in being served promptly you will experience that here as they never seem to be busy.

Absolutely horrible. I will never recommend Ashley Home Store to anyone. I ordered a bed and dresser on May 8, 2026, costing over $5,000.00. Delivery was to be May 22, 2026. May 22 came and nothing showed. I pulled the business card out "Nick" gave me, telling me to call him anytime, only to be met with a rude "I'm not working, call the store". I work my way through the phone maize of Ashley "customer service", only to be told the salesman (Nick) never scheduled delivery. The soonest they could deliver would be June 5. June 5 comes, the delivery guys are very good, but only the mattress and bed frame arrive. No dresser. I pointed out to them that with the layout of the room the dresser clearly needs to go in first, then the bed. With the dresser coming later, either they will have to negotiate the 300 lb dresser over the bed, or remove and replace the bed. After they left I lay on the bed and the first thing I noticed was the bed was much firmer than the bed I tried and tested. Looking over the bed there is absolutely no indication of a model number on the labels. I honestly believe they delivered the wrong mattress, sending a 'firm' rather than a 'plush'. I immediately phoned 'customer service', only to be told its impossible for them to make a mistake and they delivered the right mattress. I ask them how they prove it's the right model since there is no labels and they took all the packaging with them, they just point to their paperwork. I point out Google tells me of several tales of Sterns & Foster putting wrong labels on packages. I go to the store on June 8 and of course "Nick" is not there. I also find I am wasting my time as nobody in the store is willing or able to assist. They hand me a phone and dial 'customer service'. I go through the same thing again that it's the wrong mattress, being passed around to four different people. In the end they say they are unwilling to do anything and I have to wait 30 days to file a customer satisfaction guarantee claim. Not only that, I'm told that if the price of the right mattress has changed by then I'd have to pay the difference. I said BS to that. I told them, all I'm asking is them to send someone to my house and prove to me they delivered the right mattress. My old one is the same model in plush and it was never as firm as this one is. Fast forward to June 19 and I call about the dresser again. This time they say they can deliver it June 26. Fine. June 24 I get a text saying delivery is scheduled for 2:30 to 5:30 and I would get a text when they 'start their route'. By 5:00 I hear nothing so I look through the text messages and notice their is a link to the order. I click the link only to be taken to a delivery slip that sales "canceled". No reason and they didn't even have the courtesy to notify me. I call the 800 number, work through the maize and of course they can't tell me anything, but can reschedule delivery for July 2. Frustration doesn't even begin to describe how I'm feeling. I will never shop at Ashley Home Store again and will never recommend them to anyone. I still have no dresser and have a mattress that is the wrong one. Update July 4: I got a text the morning of June 27 confirming delivery July 2. I replied 'yes'. June 29 at 1:25pm I received a text setting a delivery window for July 2 of 3:45 to 6:45pm. I replied 'yes'. June 30 at 10:11pm I received a text saying the dresser was 'damaged right out of the box' and delivery was canceled. I called the 800 number on July 2. Of course they didn't know anything and rescheduled delivery for July 4. I received a confirmation text at 3:15pm, I replied 'yes' and shortly thereafter got another text setting a delivery window of 8:30 to 11:30am. At 6:45pm July 2 I received a text saying my July 4 delivery was removed from their schedule. No explanation. I called the 800 number July 3. Again no answers but they show a new shipment of the dresser July 17, so they could deliver July 18. We'll see. Rose - yes I'll call

I would give Ashley HomeStore on Preston Avenue in Saskatoon 0 stars if I could. We spent over $3,500 and paid the full amount upfront—no financing, no payment plan, just paid in full. Before purchasing, we made it very clear that we needed a confirmed delivery date because we had a wedding planned. We even told the staff that we would rather be given a later date, even if it was 1 or 2 months away, as long as it was guaranteed. Instead, we were promised delivery on June 19. That date was then pushed to June 26, then July 2, and now we've been told it will be July 4. This is now the fourth delay, and because of these repeated broken promises, our wedding plans have had to be delayed multiple times. To make matters even worse, when I called customer service and asked for a refund so I could purchase furniture somewhere else, I was told that because I was cancelling the order, I would only receive 90% of my money back. So after Ashley failed to deliver on the dates they promised, I'm expected to lose hundreds of dollars for their mistake. That is completely unacceptable. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. We trusted Ashley HomeStore with a major purchase, paid in full, and were repeatedly let down. I will never shop at Ashley again, and I will never recommend them to anyone. If you value honest communication and reliable delivery dates, I would strongly suggest shopping elsewhere.
