Nick is really nice

We really enjoyed purchasing our bedroom furniture from Ashley’s. The website was terrific and easy to navigate and then our in person experience with Prince was great. He corresponded with me online so professionally and timely after our initial in store visit, and then he drew up a competitive quote before we made our purchase. It was seamless and enjoyable doing business with Ashley’s. Thank you!

Would not recommend Ashley furniture, just go get what you want somewhere else. Overall it has been a frustrating and annoying experience. We tried to plan ahead of moving, almost a month in advance of moving, to get a couch delivered the day we moved because we thought it would be nice to have it ready to go. I'm not going to name the sales associate who unfortunately was the one we stumbled upon, but they were incredibly pushy and made the simple process of getting a couch in our new place so much more annoying than it had to be. This particular sales associate also said "I'm going to add a dining room table to your order" without us mentioning a need for one, which was some nerve. The associate also assured us the couch they recommend will fit the dimensions of the house we at the time were moving into. Not only did it not fit, but we had to wait almost 2 months for another one, and pay another delivery fee. I get that all of this isn't the worst possible thing that could have happened, but it was avoidable. The delivery drivers told us that "this happens 90% of the time" and that the sales associates just want to make a sale, so they often don't actually ensure the dimensions work. Guess that part is also on us for not double checking as well and trusting the associate's assurance that it would be fine. We gave the associate the dimensions of the previous owners couch they had in the exact spot we would put ours, and since we hadn't moved into the house yet, that is what we went by. When we ordered a new couch to replace the too big one, we went in person and another associate helped us. That day, we had to phone Ashley Furniture after getting home, to confirm some things, and the very first associate answered and said "why didn't you ask for me when you were here?" He then tried to get us to come back in person to talk over details with him when we tried to ask for the second associate. To ask us to come back when we were already there that day, because we talked to someone else and assumingly that person now gets our sale instead of the first associate, who wanted the sale instead, is some audacity. Aside from the associate, I also tried to call Ashley Furniture to schedule the delivery for the next couch, and they said they were waiting for parts of it to come in and I had to call back another time. They told me the parts would take 2 weeks to arrive. If we had known that when picking out this second couch we probably would have tried to find something else we would get quicker. I'm not sure why I was not able to just schedule the delivery for after when the parts were to arrive though. So now I was able to finally schedule a delivery for the new couch. Again I know this isn't the worst experience ever that anyone could have had; we finally will get a couch that hopefully fits, just two months after we had hoped, but at this point I'm just over it and am going to just stay away from this company in the future.

Umar offered assistance as soon as we walked in. He was easy to talk to and made the process go smoothly.

The transaction was fine. Will have to see more once mattress is delivered.
