I am leaving this review to document my personal experience that eliminated any trust I had in this company. Several years ago, when this location first opened, I experienced overly aggressive sales tactics followed by unsolicited marketing contact, including through my personal social media. Despite that history, I chose to give the store another opportunity - During this visit, the salesperson was initially helpful and showed us several options. However, I was told I had to provide my full contact details to receive a quote. I clearly stated that I did not consent to any follow-up communication and was assured there would be none. I explicitly explained my hesitation on providing my personal details, but was told that was the only way to be provided a quote. Emails and text messages began shortly afterward. Because fabric swatches were unavailable, I was advised to purchase a product and return it to compare colours. When I returned it, I was told by an associate that there was nothing they could do because the manager was not there. I waited about 25 minutes for the manager to come back. When I explained my situation, the manager stated the charge would be reversed but refused to provide a receipt or written confirmation. When I raised concerns, he was dismissive, laughed, and told me to “trust” that it was handled. I also explicitly asked that my personal information be permanently removed from their system. The manager responded by saying he would “change the phone number and email so you don’t get anything,” rather than confirming that my information would be deleted. During this discussion, he forcefully ended the conversation by walking away. The combination of unsolicited communication, refusal to provide return documentation, and dismissive handling of personal information made it clear that I could not trust this business with my money or my data. I will not return to this store or shop with Ashley again.
We dealt with a young salesman named Happy. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in guiding us to choose the right bed & living room furniture for our home. Highly recommended.
