Tammeka was very helpful and patient in showing us the products we were looking for, because we had many questions. She showed us the furniture and explained many details. Unfortunately, we had problems with the recliner we bought, it arrived with malfunctions and the bed had some stains. The process to make a claim was tedious and very bureaucratic and it took almost an hour and a half to get a solution. Now I have to wait 3 to 4 weeks for the recliner to be fixed.
I absolutely NEVER leave bad reviews but feel this experience should be shared! Buyer BEWARE! Ottoman was delivered to us visibly broken.. We immediately called and sent pics and were advised they would “fix” it under warranty. (Which would be over a month to take place) We explained we wanted a replacement as the wood was broken and we should have received it undamaged. We had to really push back and go up several levels with the very rued customer care ( who could not care less) employees to finally have our ottoman replaced in two weeks time. They kept advising us our purchase contract stated if items are delivered broken we agree to have their team come evaluate damage and fix the issue?!? This is their policy?? We had bought a couch, love seat and chair as well. The ottoman was the cheapest item and this should have been a quick resolution. While we are happy with the furniture based on this terrible customer service and policy we would not feel comfortable shopping here again. How can policy be that broken furniture can be delivered and we need to go through warranty to have it fixed?! Terrible policy and a red flag!

I've been a return customer at Ashley furniture for several years and some employees (Jay and Calvin) go above and beyond. I chose to order with Jay this purchase and he was extremely helpful & quick to respond and worked within my price point of what I was looking for. There are numerous Ashley Furniture stores closer to my house but they can never meet the customer service those two gentlemen give me. Thank you Jay for making this transaction possible & simple! Looking forward to having my items shipped out!! **** After trying to add two items to my order (which is being shipped out the next day but Jay told me I can still add up until today) this is my current review of Ashley Home store Whitby***** Very difficult to get a sales associate on the phone, finally someone answers and I asked to speak to the manager and he was with a customer. The sales associate told me he can help so I gave him my order number and in the middle of telling him what I would like to add to my order he starts speaking about my order to the manager who is now free (I could hear their whole conversation and the manager proceeds to tell the sales associate she called yesterday and we told her we couldn't (totally lie I didn't call yesterday) so at this point the sales associate is asking him to talk to me and he is saying "no you deal with her" and now I'm asking him"can you please put him on the phone, I wanted to speak with him in the first place" so the manager comes on the phone (first thing I told him was he should learn to place calls on hold or mute them) and tells me he told me yesterday he couldn't add to my order. I never even spoke to him yesterday and told him that and he proceeded to argue with me and tell me my order number is up (ya I just gave it to the sales associate to look up) He tells me it can't be added so I told him Jay told me it can be added still up to today but okay. In my opinion the manager is super unhelpful, very rude and not professional. Changing my rating from 5 stars to 1 because of my short conversation with him.
What a super team. There were extremely helpful, from the sales staff to the manager . If there was an 10 star rating it would be 11. Thank you for all your help. See you soon.
