So glad I traveled an hour to visit the store rather than shop blindly online. Staff is awesome, store is lovely, and I could test out the sofa I wanted.
Beware. The sales people lie to you about how good the extended warranty is. It is impossible to get them to approve a claim. The sales people will tell you everything is covered and your couch will be brand new. That is not the case. Also, the couches are very nice but quality after three years of use even when taken care of really well is subpar. The couch will look 10 years old. If you're buying a couch don't expect it to last more then 5 years before looking exhausted. Photos of couch bought in 2020. Update: Feb. 22, 2024 After a literal 3 week battle they finally approved my warranty claims. Had to send the same photos 4 different times because they do not keep them on file. And it has been roughly 5 weeks since my warranty parts for my couch and chaise arrived at their warehouse. It has also been equally as long since I was supposed to get a call from a tech to setup an appt to have my couch and chaise repaired. There is abolsutely zero communication to coordinate anything between Ashley (local store), the support centre and technicians. This is the absolute worst customer service/warranty service I've ever encountered. Now, I will say the store Manager I've dealt with (Shawn) is fantastic. He's been great but I will warn anyone buying from an Ashley's or any sister companies do not buy into their sales reps 'incredible warranty that covers everything' speech. Their warranty is garbage. The process for their warranty claims is incredibly bad and ineffective as it is done through a text bot, and the communication from their support and tech is abysmal. They literally do not have a way to speak to each other. The first question you should ask the rep that approaches you when you enter a store is what the warranty is like. If they say it covers everything find a new rep. They're lying to you for a sale.
