Kevin’s customer service was exceptional. Although I wasn’t ready to buy furniture on that visit, he took the time to discuss different options and demo models with me. He’s very thorough, knowledgeable and great at explaining product details that highlight the quality of materials, etc. I definitely couldn’t leave without at least buying a lovely throw blanket that caught my eye. Thank you Kevin for sharing your time and expertise, and helping me narrow down my options. I’ll be back!

The managers at the Ashley Etobicoke branch are unfortunately providing unprofessional service, causing distress to customers. The customer service representatives not only lack the necessary knowledge and skills but also use racist language, engaging in discrimination. I am officially filing complaints with the appropriate authorities, providing all necessary evidence and documentation. An investigation will be initiated against the managers of the Ashley Etobicoke branch through Consumer Affairs due to the mistreatment I have experienced. I do not want others to suffer because of the unprofessional conduct of these managers and employees.

Avoid at all costs!!! Absolutely horrible company, trash quality, dishonest sales people, no service, and warranty protection is a scam. I purchased the very overpriced tanavi sectional couch system and could not regret it more. I even shelled out extra $$ for the "Hassle-free extended warranty" hoping to protect the investment, but it was a complete scam. The couch has completely worn out and broken down in just 18 months. I tried submitting a claim against the protection plan due to spring failure and premature core breakdown (both of which are clearly covered in the warranty brochure they give you when they sell you this trash). Surprise, surprise, as soon as they get a claim they come up with dozens of pages of fine print that were never disclosed previously and we never knew existed, which basically states everything that you thought would be covered with the extended warranty is excluded, so they tell you you're out of luck and basically wasted your money on the overpriced couch, and you might as well have set fire to the $400 extra you paid for the protection plan that doesn't cover anything. I will never deal with Ashley furniture again and highly recommend anyone else avoid them like the plague.

My partner and I had a more than fantastic experience here at Ashely furniture! We've been searching for couches at IKEA/ online for a long time, and it was quite hard to find a good quality couch within our budget. So, we ended up deciding to pop into the Ashley store in Etobicoke just to have a look. Kevin immediately saw us, greeted us, and introduced himself as well as educated us on the finance options so we were aware of the payment methods we could use before starting our browsing journey. He was incredibly friendly, smart, knowledgable, and while my partner & I browsed the couches, Kevin came and educated us on the quality of the couches, even demonstrating the sturdiness of the couches to us. It really helped us as consumers understand why Ashely furniture was higher in quality than other brands. And that's why we ended up purchasing a couch at Ashley Furniture, because it was through Kevins explanation that we understood that we were definitely paying for quality. We tested many different couches and Kevin took his time to explain to us the qualities/ benefits of each one, he was so knowledgeable and answered all the questions we had! We were really happy with the pricing of the sofa that we got, and can't wait to bring it back to our home! We purchased the 5-year protection plan as well that covers any manufacturing defects, damages, stains and more which we foresee we will definitely be using because we love eating on the couch! All in all, it was definitely a 10/10 experience for us, we walked in just wanting to have a look around to see what furniture Ashley had and ended coming out with a couch because of Kevins brilliant knowledge, great customer service and overall friendliness and great service we recieved from him! Thanks so much again Kevin! We can't wait to put this couch into our new home! :D Definitely ask for Kevin the next time you're at Ashley furniture as he will be great at guiding you through the different selection of furniture with great knowledge and great customer experience! :D

If there were an option to give negative stars, this store would undoubtedly earn negative five. At first, the salespeople seemed great—charming and helpful. But as soon as the purchase was finalized and the delivery failed, they vanished into thin air. I had to chase them down, calling three separate times, only to be repeatedly told, "We'll call you back in an hour." Spoiler alert: they never called. Days passed with no updates. Their online customer service was even worse—rude, dismissive, and full of attitude. One rep literally told me they didn’t care about my issue. Can you believe that? When I finally gave up on calls and went to the store in person, they played the blame game, pointing fingers at the delivery team. Meanwhile, the delivery guys were just as bad, blaming the salespeople for being commission-hungry and failing to ask critical questions like, “Will this couch even fit in the elevator?” And let’s talk about the $150 "white glove" service I paid for—a complete joke. I was promised that the assembly team would set up the couch in my home. But guess what? The couch showed up already assembled and couldn’t even fit through the elevator. Absolute disaster. When I asked for a refund after all this chaos, they came up with some ridiculous policy: I’d only get 90% of the couch’s cost back, with 10% in store credit, and no refund for the $150 delivery/assembly charge because they “attempted delivery.” Attempted? Seriously? They couldn’t even deliver the product properly! Now, 17 days later, I’m still waiting for my refund. Initially, they promised 5-7 business days, but now they’re saying 10-14 days. It’s beyond frustrating. Consider this a public service announcement: do yourself a favor and avoid this store. Their service is abysmal from start to finish, and the stress isn’t worth it. Spend your money somewhere else, Update: One month later still no refund received and when I sent them email I was just asked "what was the refund for?"
