Waiting over 2 months just to receive a mattress is completely unacceptable. We purchased it in-store and clearly stated we would pick it up, yet we were incorrectly charged a delivery fee. On pickup day, after arriving at the Mississauga warehouse we were then told the mattress wasn’t available, and it wasn’t delivered until weeks later. Getting the incorrect delivery charge refunded took multiple calls, with constant misinformation and almost no ability to speak to a supervisor. I’m still waiting on a callback requested over a month ago. Terrible customer service, communication, and accountability. We will never purchase from Ashley Furniture again.
Impressed with the welcoming and the showing of furniture that could meet my needs. Susan was great to meet
The young sales lady Sadra who we dealt with on two prior occasions apparently was let go when I came into make my purchase. Saddened by this as she was amazing - much better than the other staff they have. They should have laid off somebody else and kept her. She really knew the products, was very efficient and had an infectious smile! In any event, the salesman who took my order said it would be ready in a couple weeks. I just called today and they told me it will take another 4 weeks! Not happy!!! If I knew this, I probably would not have purchased it as I need it ASAP. To date, I find Ashley’s communication very misleading and poor. The Brick is much more transparent !
Beware the fine print. We bought a couch from this location. We paid for the white glove service and were told that meant their delivery team would assemble the couch for us. Soonest delivery was 2weeks from purchase date. It arrived and the delivery team immediately told us it could not fit into our house as the couch was one solid piece that did not come disassembled. We declined it immediately as a result - the product had been misrepresented at time of sale to us. We called customer service to cancel the order and request a refund. We were told we’d get a call back within 24hrs. The next day we spoke with their cancellation team who advised us we could be refunded for the white glove service and the couch price minus 10% (the 10% would be store credit). This return policy was not disclosed to us at time of sale. The sales rep made it sound like we had 48hrs to change our minds after delivery but apparently 48hrs was from time of receipt, which makes zero sense. And nothing about a withheld 10% was mentioned at all. The phone rep told us it’s in the fine print of our paperwork. We absolutely have legal grounds for a full refund because the couch was materially misrepresented, we experienced failure to deliver as a result and there was lack of substantial disclosure of the return policy (consumer rights). We asked to escalate to a manager on the cancellation team, and were told it could take up to 48hrs to get a call back. This is our first and last time shopping at Ashley. Terrible customer service and experience.
Exceptional customer service!! Aysha was very patient and I felt cared for, Which made me confident in my purchase. Will go back. Thank you!!
DO NOT BUY from here!!! Worst service ever!!! We placed an order of mattresses on Dec 15th for our kids, the sales person promised that we can pick it up after Dec 27. I called on Jan 2nd to make sure we can pick it up, they said it is on the way here to Scarborough location and will arrive LATEST on Jan 9th, he also said it could come earlier than that. I trusted them and waited for another week. I called today Jan 8th to make sure we can pick it up tomorrow, the representative told us it is still waiting for a truck to deliver from Mississauga and will arrive on Jan 20th, which means it is still in Mississauga warehouse!!! It has never left since Dec 15th! Also, the previous representative lied to us because he promised it's on the way and will arrive on Jan 9th!! Apparently, they don't want to send a truck to just ship the mattress! They don't care if you get it in time or not, they only care about themselves. We have gotten our new beds set up and my kids have been sleeping on the ground AND my delivery date of a newborn is just in a few days AND now i have to find another store to buy the mattresses!!! I have never experienced this in any furniture stores. Leon's delivers in 2 days!Costco delivers in 2 weeks but it always shows up before their estimated date. Both of these companies provide free delivery. Ashley's? You need to pay for the delivery, if you want to pick up for free, they give you an estimated date and it's a lie, they will give you another arrival date and it's another lie. This just keeps on going and you will never know when you will get your items. It could be a week, a month, maybe even a year. This is our first time shopping at Ashley's and will be our last time. Forgot to update, manager called and solved the problem. So 2 more stars for that.
