My experience with Megan was amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in addressing my concerns regarding the purchase of a new mattress and adjustable bed frame. After shopping all around and even considering "like new" used on Marketplace it just wasn't worth the hassle or disappointment. What some people call "like new condition " is disgusting!! So we shopped around town and just purchased a sectional from Ashley in Newmarket. Carolynne was great. The value for this was great and its made in North America so that's a bonus! If the U.S economy is strong so is Canada's!!

The sales associate and the manager were very helpful and professional. They asked about our budget and preferences for living room set we planned to purchase. She explained in details what to expect for deliver. We are hoping the delivery is going to be smooth with no issues. Great store and excellent selection.

I purchased a Robbinsdale Sleigh bed and Sealy Brodie mattress with the help from Carolyn today. I am really thankful for her assistance. She is very familiar with each product and explained all the different types of mattresses to me. It’s a smooth and comfortable experience. The store manager is very friendly. I will definitely come back and buy again in this location.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Ashley Furniture. I purchased a sofa set, dining table, chairs, and coffee table, with a total invoice of around $9,000 (Sales Number: 2037961844). These items were supposed to be delivered on December 24. However, I was informed that one item would be delayed until December 27, and the rest wouldn’t arrive until January 28—over a month late. Despite this significant delay, I received no email or phone call explaining the situation, only a text message with updated delivery dates. When I contacted the store to express my concerns, I was told verbally that I’d receive a $250 store credit as compensation. However, I’ve yet to receive any follow-up email or confirmation of this agreement, which is very disappointing. When I asked about the delay, I was told that some of the products were damaged, and Ashley Furniture wanted to avoid delivering damaged items to customers, which was why the delivery was taking longer. Ironically, after finally receiving our sofa set, I can now see what they were talking about. The sofa arrived with visible damage despite the delay. We paid extra for delivery and assembly, but the assembly process was subpar, and the delivery team failed to address or even mention the damage—they simply left the product in our home and departed. To make matters worse, the sewing on the sofa is completely unacceptable. It’s misaligned and uneven, which is shocking for such an expensive product. For an invoice of $9,000, this level of quality and lack of professionalism is outrageous. A simple quality check could have easily caught these issues before the item was delivered. It’s clear that there was no proper inspection or attention to detail. If you’re considering buying anything from Ashley Furniture, make sure to confirm the delivery timeline with them thoroughly to avoid unexpected delays. Additionally, be aware that the quality of the product you see in the showroom may not match the product you receive. The showroom items appear much better in quality than what is ultimately delivered. I plan to start communication with Ashley Furniture tomorrow to address the manufacturing defect, poor sewing quality, and overall experience. I’m waiting to see how they respond to this issue. However, this entire experience—from the delays and lack of communication to the damaged and poorly made sofa—has been deeply disappointing. Once I see their response and resolution, I will update this review accordingly. After my first review, I contacted Ashley Furniture’s customer service and spoke with a representative who provided an email address to send pictures of the damaged sofa. I sent the email with all the details, only to receive an automatic response stating that the email is inactive. This kind of service from such a large company is unacceptable and adds to my disappointment.
