Less than a year ago, we bought a lift chair from Ashley home store in Newmarket and purchased the extended warranty. Recently we had an issue with the remote not working. We contacted Ashley and talked to Patrick Wilson, who immediately tried to solve our problem. However, the remote started working again and nothing needed to be done. He advised us if we had any more problems to let him know. On Father’s Day once again, the remote stopped working, and the chair is now stuck in the upward position. We contacted the warranty department who advised us to go into the store and choose another lift chair that we would be happy with. when I arrived at the store, Patrick assisted me graciously and dealt with the situation immediately to ensure that we would get the new chair I picked out ASAP. Fortunately, the manufacturers warranty was still valid and we were able to do an exchange and because the chair I picked out was cheaper than the original we also received a store credit for the difference. Patrick was empathetic and dealt with the matter professionally. The first available date for delivery was Thursday four days after I visited the store. Patrick advised me that if there was any cancellation, he would inform me and change the date for delivery. We received an email the day after I was in the store, letting me know That it would be delivered on Tuesday rather than Thursday. Patrick went above and beyond for us and we really appreciate it and highly recommend Ashley home store.

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with the delivery and installation service from Ashley. The installers were unorganized and clearly in a rush. The furniture was poorly assembled — some parts were loose, others were installed incorrectly, and a few screws were placed in the wrong spots. It felt like they just wanted to finish quickly and leave, rather than take the time to do the job properly. For a brand like Ashley, where customers expect professionalism and quality, this was really frustrating and unacceptable. I hope Ashley takes this kind of feedback seriously and ensures they work with trained installers who care about doing their job right.
