Service was great but salesperson had fowl breath and his dress code left a lot to be desired
Great price for a solid product
Extremely disappointed with my experience at Ashley HomeStore - Newmarket. I purchased an L-shaped sofa with ottoman expecting solid quality, but within less than a year the frame broke in multiple sections, the back cushions became deformed, and the ottoman went out of alignment. The construction is clearly weak and not built to last. What’s most frustrating is the extended warranty that was strongly promoted at the time of sale — it ended up covering almost nothing. I opened a claim in October 2025, and after months of back-and-forth, poor communication, and lack of follow-through, a technician finally came in February 2026 and only repaired one broken piece while denying the rest of the issues. I was even told to open the cushion myself and “fluff it,” which is unacceptable for furniture at this price point. Multiple requests to escalate to management were ignored, and communication throughout this process has been very disappointing. Overall, poor product quality, poor customer care, and very frustrating communication. Definitely not the level I expected — I regret this purchase. The purchase and delivery of our couch from Ashley’s was great. The only complaint I have and the reason for the four stars instead of five, is the communication from our salesperson was not clear. We requested delivery and were told of the ‘White Glove Delivery’ service. We opted for this but we were not told of the other two options for delivery. Had we known, we would have chosen one of the less expensive options as we did not require all the services included in the ‘White Glove’. All options should be explained to customers and the decision left to them rather than the choice being made by the salesperson.

Great selection, clean store with lots of items to choose from for any room in the house. Great customer service. Also the new manager was amazing to work with and helped us getting the couch we wanted, thank you!
