I had one of the worst delivery experiences with Ashley HomeStore, and I feel compelled to share it so others are aware of the level of carelessness and unprofessionalism I encountered. During the delivery of my new sofa, the team completely ignored my clear instructions to use an alternate door that would have prevented any issues. Instead, they forced the sofa through a narrow passage. As a direct result, the sofa slipped from the delivery person’s hands and caused a large dent in my wall—an incident that happened right in front of me. To make matters worse, one of the delivery personnel was extremely rude and disrespectful. He walked on my carpeted floor with outdoor shoes, despite the obvious risk of damaging or dirtying the carpet. The senior person on the team did nothing to help. He simply stood by giving orders without actually assisting the other two workers or preventing the damage. I filed a property damage claim (#346898), but what shocked me even more was Ashley’s warehouse team **denying** my claim, stating that their employees did *not* cause the damage—despite the fact that the entire incident took place right in front of me. This response is not only inaccurate but incredibly frustrating and disappointing. It is very annoying and disheartening to see employees from such a reputed company engage in this kind of misconduct, ultimately ruining the brand’s image. As a customer, I expected professionalism, care, and accountability—none of which were shown. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Ashley HomeStore’s delivery service and sincerely hope the company takes steps to improve accountability and customer service.

Shopping for a couch, I wasn't really planning on getting one that day right away, especially with all the choices and myriad of combinations and options. It's mind boggling these days to see how many choices are available to one, mind you this is just a couch, how about all the other items you need in a house? I'm conflicted thinking about this, as a human race, are we slowly wrecking this dear planet, while at the same not even feeling blessed as to all the comforts we are having these days? Our forefathers didn't have all these, yet people nowadays are not getting any healthier, nor better than the generation before us. I'm getting off topic here, let's get back. I was in Ashley furniture store, and the staff were kind to just let me stroll around, tried sitting down for a while on my choices of couch, until I finally settled on one I thought would be appropriate for me. The staff were very helpful (especially Grace who showed me all the possibilities and options, and color choices, delivery charges and flexibilible delivery dates, brand new or floor models, etc, etc, and later Syeda for more pricing adjustments) without pressuring me into buying one. That's key for me, I don't want to be hustled into making a quick decision. They even have a 45 days if you want to change/cancel, and a 60 day price guarantee. So if you are shopping for furniture, this is a good place, based on my experience. The atmosphere is good and the staff, friendly, lots of choices, and the prices aren't too expensive. I was assured they also make their own furniture here in Canada and in the US (although they admit to sending some non bulky materials for finishing to low cost countries), unlike other big box stores that source their products from different suppliers, and also that Ashley source their materials locally so it is accustomed to the environment and weather here, so no surprises on material shrinkage or deforming when subjected to the local weather.

I had a wonderful experience and Rahat was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the products. She took the time to understand my needs and recommended options that suited me perfectly. She also suggested additional items that would help with the longevity of my purchase, which I truly appreciated. Overall, it was a great shopping experience, and I’m very grateful for her expertise and support. Highly recommend visiting Rahat!
