1 star is being generous. I have worked retail. I also shop like it’s my actual job. This was hands down the worst retail experience I’ve ever had. Between pushy sales managers who stepped in and stepped on sales consultants toes in order to lock down sales, sales managers who will not let you leave without brow beating you into buying warrantees because they’re a commissioned product…. Legitimately the worst shopping experience. I was so put off by one of the managers that I actually avoided purchasing my bedroom set for MONTHS. I ended up buying it a few weeks ago and was brow beaten to the point I wanted to cry just to buy a warrantee that I was so clear I didn’t want. The manager even dropped the price of the furniture just so I would take the warrantee at no additional overall cost. It screamed “we aren’t confident our product will last”, “I need this commission with everything in my soul”, and absolutely undermined their sales teams abilities. It also gave zero care to the fact that they are alienating customers. I bought my furniture, but I will never EVER return, unless it’s to spend the store credit that my warrantee will apparently give me if I don’t use it.
Excellent experience and service!
Don't buy from Ashley, just go to Sofa Land or Urban Barn or any other store. Ordered dinning chairs and confirmed with the sales person of the delivery date as we are moving to a new place and have no furniture. And we were happy to order something else that's available and the sales said oh it's on the way so expect it in another week or so. - Ordered Jul 15, expected delivery 24th. - Nothing on 24th. Got a text on 29th saying to schedule a pickup for Jul 30. Fine if it's a week late whatever. - Nothing on 30th. Called again and was told oh it's at the warehouse but was not assigned to my order and to expect a call to schedule. - Nothing and called again on 31 and was told should be here mid Aug. Asked customer service that I got a text to schedule for yesterday and what happens if Aug 13 comes around and it's not here again. Nothing If you wanna get the run around, then buy from Ashley. I'm glad I bought from other stores for our other furnitures. They didn't just say whatever to get your money and were actually truthful of the dates and expectation.
I bought a cloth couch from Ashley Furniture and was strongly encouraged by the salesperson to purchase the extended 4-year warranty for $500. I was specifically told it would cover everything—including pet scratches. However, when I needed to use the warranty after a minor scratch, I was told it wasn’t covered. Complete contradiction to what was promised at the time of purchase. It felt like a bait-and-switch. To make matters worse, the sofa quality itself is very poor—the material feels cheap, and it started looking worn just months in. For the price and added warranty, I expected much better. Would not recommend Ashley Furniture based on my experience. Very disappointed with both the product quality and misleading sales tactics.
Worst place to buy furniture. I second Mr. Samih's review , that this should be 0 starts
The service was so long. It took us more 3 hours to process our purchase for a massage chair
The worst experience I have ever had. We bought a set of couches. They were delayed a month, when they finally showed up one sofa was damaged. They refused to take them back and said they would send us a part to fix it. So now I have a damaged couch waiting. The customer service has been no help. I will never deal with Ashley again.
Aleg was very pleasant and made sure I understand everything.
I have to add to this that this business has a contract with a company called Guest care that acted as a warranty company for Ashley , this compnay is just a scam, they do not do anything, they will just take your money for the warranty and when you ask for it, they will never give you anything, neither fixing nor changing, Please use other furniture stores they are way better than this crab. I will say even ( 0 ) rating is fair for this company and their services, very unprofessional, they actually don't even listen if you have a complaint about their services and the warranty is the worst part of their service, you will just pay for warranty and will never get something fixed even if it's their fault from the first installation, they have a contractor company for services it's called Guest Care , they don't care about Guest at all. Other furniture companies are way better in terms of Quality and after sale services Stay away from this company and Guest care and don't waste your money Since you replied to the rating and reviews, it's good to mention that it wasn't a communication failure, it was a complete negligence and unprofessional service, because I did call soooo Many times and even a supervisor from store did request the right parts, but nothing happened I will still say this is the worst place to buy a furniture from. Will definitely return all bedroom sets and get away from this........
