I recently purchased a kitchen table from the Kitchener, Ontario Ashley Furniture store on December 11, and my experience has been incredibly disappointing. I was told the table would be delivered on December 23, just in time for our Christmas family dinner. As the date approached, I set up our dining area and bought food for our gathering, eagerly anticipating the arrival of the table. However, on December 23, I hadn't received any updates, so I called customer service to check on the delivery. To my shock, I was informed that the table wouldn't be delivered until at least January! I was never notified about this delay, which left me scrambling just hours before our dinner. It’s frustrating that I had to reach out to Ashley Furniture to find out about such an important change, rather than being informed proactively. This lack of communication and customer care has left me extremely dissatisfied. I expected better from Ashley Furniture, especially during such a crucial time. I hope they can improve their communication and customer service in the future.
