Ashley Homestore is very cozy shop. I and my family liked to roam around stylish furniture and accessories. Brad, who helped us to choose furnishings for our home, was really helpful and amazing.
Initially I had great service during the purchase of six dining room chairs. However, after picking up the chairs and assembling them the next day I found that one chair was damaged and one bolt was missing. I sent the sales manager (who was our sales person) an email about the damage and the missing bolt as well as photos of a chip out of the wood frame of one of the seats and a four inch crack in one of the legs. I asked that the chair be replaced. The sales manager provided me with a phone number to text with the details of the damage. I texted all of the details only to find out that I had to go to another site to file a damage claim. I also did that and continued to get text messages from the service department for the same information I had to enter for the claim. In total I had to supply the photos of the damage three times, take a photo of the serial number and upload it with the claim and provide the serial number of the chair on the phone with the service agent and then a third time in response to an email they sent me. In the end after three hours texting back and forth with the service agent, emails and a phone call from her, I was informed that the service technician makes the decision as to whether or not the chair gets repaired for me or whether they replace it. I informed the service agen that if their decision is to repair the chair, that I would be returning all six chairs. Overall, very poor customer service on the part of Ashley's and I won't be shopping there again or with their associated company Dufresne!
bought a mattress 6 weeks ago on a warranty exchange. it was supposed to arive 4 weeks but was delayed 5 times! the truck finally showed up today but wouldn't deliver the mattress because they needed the old one, but the sales lady at the store had told us we could get rid of it so we had donated it to an immigrant family! so now we have no mattress because we did what their employee told us to do. definitely shop somewhere with more competent employees. UPDATE: Still have not received our mattress! they offered to cover half of what our warranty would be only. they suggested we get the mattress back from the poor immigrant family and leave them without a mattress!! it's frustrating since the warranty was approved using pictures and then told we could dispose of it!!
