What a nightmare. The store rep was great and the purchase was perfect, but the delivery? Where do I start? The store rep arranged a delivery day of Friday. I told him this was good but only after 12 pm. He said that could be worked out with the delivery people. They texted to say they'd be delivering between 9 am and 12 pm. I said no, that won't work, no one will be home. They tried to arrange afternoon delivery but said it wasn't possible, so I requested a reschedule. Here it is, Friday morning and I get a text from them saying the delivery is on its way. I texted back no, this was cancelled. Stop. Halt. I don't know if it's a real human sending these texts ("Jenny") or not, but I got no further texts. Scrambled to find the phone number to call to tell them to cancel the delivery, which they were able to do, but said I'd have to call back the next day to arrange a new date. I thought that's where we were at already. As is so often the case I couldn't find a place on the Ashley website to report a bad customer service experience so I guess this is the only way!
