On Oct 12th, we ordered a table and 8 chairs. At the time we were told that it would take 4-6 weeks for delivery. On Oct 20th, we ordered a couch and an area rug. The couch arrived very quickly on Oct 25th. After weeks of following up with the store regarding the table and chairs, getting the same disappointing answers repeatedly, our table and chairs finally arrived in January after only 12.5 weeks. A far cry from the 4-6 weeks we were told back in October when we ordered those items With table and chair debacle finally brought to an end. I was reminded that in fact we never received the area rug that we purchased on Oct 20th. As of yesterday it has been 14 weeks since that order was placed. I emailed the sales manager on January 17th expressing my continued frustration and once again inquiring about the delivery date of my outstanding order. I was told January 25 is rough expected arrival date in their system. I then received an automated text asking to schedule my delivery for Jan 24th. Ahead of the 24th, I received another message cancelling that delivery date and rescheduling for Jan 28th. Having heard nothing, I called today asking about my scheduled delivery for tomorrow only to find out that the rug is back ordered until Feb 8th. 16 weeks from the order date, for a rug… At no point when we ordered this rug were we told that it was back ordered. In fact we were told *wait for it* 4-6 weeks! Does Ashley HomeStore keep any items in stock? Is the rug still being stitched in the factory? Do you ever quote a delivery date that is even close to correct?
Justin and his partner were extremely careful about not bumping into walls, light fixtures and furniture in the building when they made our delivery. Thank you so much! 5 out of 5 for service, friendliness and politeness.
