I had an extremely disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture. I purchased over $3,000 worth of furniture and paid for delivery, only to be told afterward that due to “company policy,” they would only drop everything off in my apartment lobby. Not to my door. Not inside my unit. Just dumped in the lobby. What exactly is the point of paying for delivery if it doesn’t include actual delivery to your door? There was no clear communication about this at the time of purchase. After spending thousands of dollars, the least I expected was proper service. Instead, I was left feeling misled and completely unsupported. Customer service was absolutely unhelpful. No effort to accommodate. No empathy. No solutions. It felt like once they had my money, they simply didn’t care anymore. If I could give zero stars, I would. I strongly recommend thinking twice before ordering from this store — especially if you live in an apartment. The experience was frustrating, inconvenient, and completely unacceptable for a company of this size. Update, they reached out and apologized, also refunded my shipping fee, i appreciate that, and i hope moving forward…….drop off and delivery are communicated to customers properly, especially if they have to pay for delivery.
