Great experience. Both Samuel and Glenn were very helpful. They were knowledgeable and helped me with the logistics in figuring out what could fit where. Glenn had some valuable insight and experience in the area and helped me consider some things I hadn't thought of. Would definitely come back to Ashley for my next purchase.
This place is horrible. I bought a fridge from them , two days later they had a promo if you buy for 2000.00 you can get 150.00 off. The fridge was delivered the 31st, January. I phone them every single day from the day the fridge was delivered. Left messages, or talk to someone and they said someone will get back to me. Phone this morning same thing. Today is the 6 February, still no phn. call.
Glenn in the store was fantastic. Delivery guys were fantastic. Actually getting the product was a problem. The canceled 2 delivery dates and wasted 2 of my vacation days. It took almost 2 months to get our couch and still waiting to get recliner chair and coffee table.
Excellent and efficient delivery of my furniture with no issues. Impressed with Dylan and his co-worker!
Lots of options. And friendly staff would help you on the details.
I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my ongoing experience with Ashley Homestore Etobicoke and its staff, specifically related to unresolved billing issues and unprofessional conduct. On March 18, 2024, I purchased two sofas and one dining room table set from Ashley Homestore Etobicoke, with financing approved by Fairstone for $2,500. I made an initial cash payment of $1,000, which included the product total and delivery fees. My sales associate at the time was Kevin Gorospe. On March 30, 2024, I requested an exchange for the sofas as they did not suit my space. Nuzhat Daud assisted me with the exchange and updated the payment plan, confirming that my remaining balance was $1,808. Additionally, I was asked to pay a $100 cash delivery fee, which I handed over upon delivery. In October 2024, I received an e-statement from Fairstone indicating additional charges despite making payments towards my balance. When I visited the store to inquire about the $173 discrepancy, the store manager, Nuzhat Daud, assured me that the amount would be cleared once the balance was fully paid. In November 2024, after settling my remaining balance, the $173 charge remained on my account. Upon returning to the store, I was advised to contact Fairstone, who then redirected me back to Ashley Homestore, as the issue pertained to the retail store. After multiple follow-ups, on January 4, 2025, I visited the Etobicoke location and spoke with store manager Sparsh Gupta. I presented my e-statement and requested an explanation. He stated that it was a weekend and that he could not access the system at the time but promised to review it and contact me on Monday, January 6, 2025. However, I did not receive any follow-up call. On January 14, 2025, I received a new e-statement from Fairstone, which now showed $503 due to accrued interest on the unresolved $173 charge. I immediately called the Etobicoke store and was told that someone would contact me within 15 minutes, but no one followed up. When I visited the store on January 14, 2025, to address the issue, I met with Sparsh Gupta and another employee, Sakshi Talwar, who reviewed the transactions and claimed the $173 charge was valid. Despite my repeated inquiries over the months, no clear explanation was ever provided, leaving me to deal with interest charges due to their negligence. To my shock, during this visit, both employees engaged in unprofessional behavior, including blaming one another for the unresolved issue. They also verbally harassed me, threatened to ban me from returning to the store, and accused me of creating unnecessary trouble. They suggested I accept a $500 product of my choice as compensation but instructed me to keep this resolution discreet so that other managers would not find out. I am deeply concerned about how this situation has been handled, both in terms of the financial oversight and the unprofessional treatment I experienced. As a customer, I feel unfairly treated, harassed, and pressured into paying charges that were not transparently A thorough investigation into the $173 charge and an explanation of how this issue escalated to $503. A refund of the $503 I paid due to this error and any additional costs I incurred. Appropriate disciplinary action against the employees involved in the unprofessional conduct. It is crucial for Ashley Homestore to ensure its staff operates with integrity, professionalism, and respect for customers. This situation has caused me unnecessary stress and financial burden, and I trust that you will take the necessary steps to rectify this matter promptly. They did discrimination and racist behaviour which I have evidences. The manager Nuzhat Daud while I was on the phone with speaking her she was saying my name “Sultan Savran Sa… whatever” and I asked her how a manager speaking her customer like that? She is telling” I don’t want Arabic people in my store “ first of all any person can not use hate speech for a different nationality. She does not show racist manner , behaviours to the customers.
Mary Tilley was great to work with. Honest and patient with us as we jumped all over the store trying to decide on what we wanted.
Terrible customer service. They never returned my calls or followed through on customer care. The staff was friendly and helpful during the purchase, but the moment I walked out the door, I no longer mattered. When you spend $5,000 on a sofa and pay extra for customer care insurance, you expect better service. Extremely disappointing.
I and my wife visited St. James branch and Mary welcomed us warmly (thanks for the nice tea). The best about it, we’ve got awesome deal. More power to you guys!
