We purchased a table from Ashley furniture November 14, with delivery set for November 29/25. The table was delivered without any hardware. The delivery guys called the warehouse and store and told us the hardware to put the table together could not be located and would need to be ordered. We heard nothing further from anyone at Ashley. Even after reaching out and informing our salesman of the situation, we did not receive a call from him or the store manager. After contacting customer service multiple times it wasn't until December 17th someone told us that the parts were estimated to arrive January 13/26. We requested to return the table so we could purchase a useable table before Christmas and were told we’d been sold a floor model “as is” and couldn’t return it. This was the first time we were told we were purchasing a floor model and nowhere on our invoice does it say it's a final sale. Customer service was non-existent, everyone said they couldn’t help and it wasn’t their problem, people who said they'd call back never did. We were left $3000 out of pocket with an unusable table and a completely ruined Christmas. I’ve never experienced more heartless customer service in my life. Ashley furniture sold us furniture under false pretenses and once they had our money, they didn't care that their error completely ruined our holiday.
Our experience with Ashley’s has been perfect- our salesman was great - informative and helpful- we appreciated Jenny keeping us up to date what was happening and when to expect delivery , which was right on time even considering the blizzard overnight! The delivery personnel were friendly and courteous and got the table set in no time! We were very pleased with the whole Ashley experience!! Thank you!!

We purchased a leather sofa and loveseat for our cabin that is a 5 hour drive for us. We wanted to pick the furniture up on our way out before winter comes as we wouldn't have room for the furniture and snowmobile. The AI message system notified us that the furniture was ready for pick up and itemized both pieces. We made other appointments along the way to maximize the drive. When we showed up, only the loveseat was in. Since we made arrangements to go, we had to take just the loveseat. Ashley did apologize for their error and gave us free delivery to our home for the sofa, but wouldn't take it to the cabin. We now have to make a special 10 hour drive to take the sofa before the snow gets too deep and blocks the road or face storing it until next summer. The time between picking up the loveseat and getting the sofa delivered, I was inundated with AI calls and texts to pick up the loveseat I already got and to pick up the sofa that wasn't in. Even calling the store to complain took me to a chatbot. I eventually got a human for customer service, but the free delivery is all I got for my trouble. The sofa arrived today. The box has major damage and now I'm faced with unboxing it to check for damage and re-boxing it for the trip to the cabin. All manageable, but everything very time consuming and a pain. Just a warning that their AI scheduling system needs improving. Edit: After posting a poor review, Ashley reached out, assured me that they will improve their system and offered an acceptable solution to my situation.
Very positive experience from beginning to end. The Sales rep helped me to identify what I wanted, and the delivery crew did a great job of setting up my new bed for me. Very happy with the quality of the people and the product.
