We had a very unpleasant experience at this furniture store today. We visited the store to browse sectional sofas and found one that we really liked. The sales associate who assisted us was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. We weren’t planning to make a purchase today as we wanted to visit a couple of other stores before making a decision. Before leaving, the sales associate kindly asked why we didn’t want to buy the sofa today. I explained our plans, and she offered a small discount if we purchased on the spot. I appreciated the offer and asked if the discount would still be available tomorrow. She said it might be, so I told her we would likely return tomorrow if we decided to go with the sofa. However, as we were leaving, the store manager stopped us. He spoke to us in a very aggressive and pressuring tone, insisting that we buy the sofa immediately. He claimed he could offer us a good deal but only if we purchased it today!. Despite explaining that we were tired, it was late, and we wanted to think it over, he continued to apply significant pressure. What made the experience even worse was his behavior towards my teenager daughter. He directed the same aggressive tone at her, which was entirely uncalled for. This left us with an extremely negative impression of the store. We came in genuinely interested in the product and left feeling harassed and disrespected. Sales tactics like these are unacceptable, and I hope the store management / owners reconsiders their approach to customers in the future.
