Wow! I am so HAPPY, impressed and also kind of shocked by how awesome our experience was! We all felt that Zach Taylor was smart, charismatic, and well just awesome and Shawn was kind and astute they went above and beyond with their knowledge, attentiveness, fun attitudes, with professional and friendly workmanship! There was No pressure, we laughed and they were informative and able to help in all of our needs. Thank you so much! I had not gone in before weary of cost BUT it was AMAZING and they have options for everyone so go take a look. I am just so stoked about my experience there, thanks again for such great care!!!
Unfortunately, buying a new couch and chair set have not been a good experience for us. We purchased a leather couch and chair last September 2025 and where told we would have our set by the end of November to the middle of December. Then we heard NOTHING- we called them in December for an up date to hear- oh sorry you are looking at possibly mid Jan- unless- you change the color- then, we can have it to you before Christmas. So we order our 2nd choice of color :(- we did get our couch at 9 pm on Dec 22nd. Now, its Feb 3rd 2026 and still no chair or even a call about delay- we have to keep calling them. They have horrible customer service! Call your customers to discuss delays- dont make us call you angry because we have no idea what's going on. I would NOT recommend this Salmon Arm, Ashley store to anyone unless you want months of frustration, disappointment and zero communication from thier sales team.

I’m new to Salmon Arm and to Canada and I need to furnish my apartment. As a newcomer I felt so welcome since the moment I entered the store, all the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Special thanks to Zach Taylor who’s being making my experience a whole new level of excitement and joy and comfort. He fully dedicates to understanding the clients’ needs and has gone above and beyond to follow my interests and guide me through what is best for my needs adhering to my likes and preferences. He is patient and respectful, he offers different options and provides good info about the items, comparing each other balancing benefits which makes it easier to decide. I didn’t feel pressured at any time and he dedicated his full attention to me and personalised my furnishing experience. I’m truly happy with the outcome and will keep coming back to furnish my whole apartment with Ashley. Thank you to the whole team and to Zach!

Update: Rose at Ashley’s got in touch with me and worked out a way to resolve this issue. I’m happy that she did because I have shopped at Ashley’s in the past and up until Monday, always had a great experience. Rose was extremely helpful. It’s clear that Ashley’s is committed to good customer service and are quick to resolve issues. I wish the salesperson at the store had called me back himself to clarify but I can’t speak highly enough about Rose’s response! As a result I want to update my review score. Original post: I had a surprisingly weird experience at the Ashley’s in Salmon Arm yesterday. Went to buy some bedside tables I saw on their website but they didn’t have them in stock. I really wanted to see them before I bought them but I was told that they couldn’t bring them into the store unless I bought them first. The salesman said that if I didn’t like them I would be refunded. So I went ahead and bought them on account 30 days to pay. Afterwards I read the agreement and even though I had a a verbal assurance that I would be fully refunded the agreement said that I would only get 90% of my money refunded and the rest would be a store credit. I called back to get clarification. I got no answer and no call back. . I finally phoned the customer service head office and they told me that I would NOT get a full refund. Luckily, it was within 24 hours so I was able to cancel the agreement. I found this to be an unusual way to do business and a deceptive practice. Just beware if they promise you can return things. I think a store should bring in a product that they offer for sale without asking you to pay first.
