Please please read the other reviews before even thinking of stepping into this place! I came in looking to spend a ton after a house fire. I was starting from scratch basically. We came in with our 2 babies. We got all dressed up and excited to go to Ashley’s. Long story short, the Manager basically refused to take our cash so we had to make an extra trip to the bank. Made us wait an hour just for a quote while I was watching our babies; no other customers in the entire store. He basically talked down to us the entire time. We ended up buying a couch , bed frame and other items. He promised us we’d have our furniture delivered by July 4th. That meant no couch for a few weeks. Despite our icky feeling, July 4th came and we where excited to get our couch and not have to breast feed my babies on the floor in the living room. So we cleared our home and bedroom in preparation for their arrival. Of course we got ghosted. No call to reschedule, nothing. We call them and they tell us we are receiving our furniture at the end of the month! I knew since I spoke to that man that something was not right. I felt lied to leaving and now I can see this guy basically hates kind people. Now we cancelled our order and we are going to try with a much more reputable company. Sorry Penticton Ashley manager, you don’t deserve to call yourself a good business leader. I own my own business and never have I acted this way to a kind family and not even my worst customers. What a waste of time and my hard worked money.
I was lied to about a delivery date. I got promised a delivery date before making the purchase, it was very important to me to get our furniture as soon as possible because we didn't have anything currently. Delivery day comes and still no word from anyone from Ashley's, I called their customer line to find out my delivery isn't expected for another 2 weeks. No word from anyone about that, not an email, text, nothing. Our sales person Alex was very nice and helpful but when it came time to actually make they purchase, I did so with the store manager and he was the one who made the promise. Will not be shopping here again.
Found what I needed, it was on sale and was hiven extra money off. Great service from Alexandra❤️
