I went in to Ashley's furniture Penticton to look for a chair. Was helped by the salesperson (Daana) and finally picked put a chair and sofa. After Stefan (assistant manager) completed the forms my wife called me and asked for the other colour so he quickly re did the forms. I checked the on line number regularly to estimate arrival date and found out the chair had been discontinued. Went to the store and advised staff. They spent an incredible amount of time along with the manager to locate a sofa at another store and had it reserved for us. If it were not for this stores staff and their commitment to making us content with our purchase, despite the bigger systemic challenges beyond their control, we likely would have cancelled the order. We felt that they did their best to make sure we received what we had initially ordered and showed friendly/professional services to us.

Worst experience I have ever encountered. First when we entered the store the sales man was outright rude and talking down to us and if we were uneducated. We were wanting to purchase a new sectional just to be told it wasn't in stock. I then went home and looked myself online and it was available in stock. I called Ashleys Penticton and they Said no problem they'll call me back when they figure it out. They never called me back so I called back another time. no answers for me... said they'd call back.. never did and this happened about 5 times until I called to speak with the manager who assured me the gentleman with the Mohawk would call me back after he was done helping a customer. Which he then never Called me back. They missed out on making commission off of a 3K plus sectional, a rug and a coffee table. Poor service overall. 0/10 experience.
Great variety of products and our salesman, Stefan was helpful, welcoming and knowledgeable. We found what we were looking for, but with three seats instead of two. Right colour, style and fabric. They had a love seat with the same colour and fabric, but it did not come without a consul which is ideally what we were hoping for. We are however, very pleased with what we bought and its quality. Thank you Ashley’s Penticton, and Stefan!
The sales assistant was excellent. Knew the product line, patient, friendly and knowledgeable. However checking out with my purchase was ridiculous. It took FOREVER for the assistant to fill out the forms. I should be able to pay get a receipt and leave. Oh no, had to stand around and wait while forms were filled out which had nothing to do with me but internal company needs!!!!! Time is money, yours AND mine.
