Amazing staff, seamless sales no pressure sales. Would do business again with them
Absolutely terrible customer service. Bought my modular couch 6 months ago. Was never told there could be a delay. Just got the last piece yesterday almost 6 months to the day that I ordered it. Sales person got the the point of not even answering my calls or texts. Gave me zero updates at all. Called customer service many many times. The first person I spoke with, I was looking for an Update as I was moving the next day. The sales person then told me it was pretty silly that I sold my previous couch before I moved because the new one wasn’t coming right away. I said well I was hoping Ashley furniture would do their job and do what they said. And everytime I called after that All I was told repeatedly is that it was on the truck coming from Toronto. Didn’t know a couch piece could be in the same truck from Toronto for months. Everytime I called customer service they just told me they can’t help until it gets delivered. Disappointed to say the least. They ended up giving me a $300 gift card that I don’t want to use because I never want to shop with Ashley again. I do love the couch so much but it’s also on wayfair and I wish I just ordered it through them as it was only a week delay. Overall extremely unhappy with the customer service but happy with the product.
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Ashley Furniture. My mom recently purchased a recliner that initially seemed fine in-store, but once she actually used it at home, serious issues became clear. When fully reclined, the chair is too short to properly support her legs, and after sitting in it for a few hours over just two days, it caused significant knee pain due to the pressure. This isn’t a minor comfort issue—it’s a design flaw that made the chair essentially unusable for her. What’s even more frustrating is Ashley’s rigid 48-hour return policy. There is absolutely no realistic way to determine whether a piece of furniture will cause discomfort or pain within such a short window, especially something like a recliner that needs extended use to properly evaluate. We reached out hoping for some flexibility given the circumstances, but they refused to budge. The company claims to be “100% proudly Canadian owned and operated,” but this experience made it feel like profits matter far more than people. Standing behind your products should mean more than hiding behind a restrictive policy that leaves customers stuck with something that harms them. I would strongly caution others to think twice before purchasing from Ashley—especially larger items like recliners—because if something doesn’t work out, you may be out of luck.
I was acknowledged when I walked in the door. Canadian company with helpful suggestions, no pressure. Made the ordering process easy. Nice people!
We stopped by at Ashley Langley store and bought a mattress. As soon as we stepped in we received a very warm welcome from the staff. Josh Chawla was very knowledgeable, helpful and happily answered all our questions. Thank you Josh and I highly recommend Ashley Furnature/ Langley.
Amazing team with great communication. The team including (Swapna) helped us find the perfect piece for our home.
Josh did a great job at helping find the right configuration and couch for our needs
Vanessa, Josh and the GM are absolutely incredible. Without going into a long story I had some issues with a delivery. After several trips into the store as I need the human element to customer service the General Manager went above and beyond what anyone else would have done to ensure our issue was resolved. I am a loyal customer to Ashley (30+ years and 3 different provinces for purchases). With the outstanding service I received from this location (Langley BC) and because of the staff and the General Manager I remain a loyal customer. I will definitely continue to enjoy the products Ashley provides because of this experience. Thank you for the kindness you showed during a very stressful situation 🙏
Vanessa was extremely helpful in my purchase of a chair and side table. Delivery will be even quicker than originally anticipated.
