DO NOT SHOP HERE. Ashley home store service has gone downhill in a big way. Three years ago our experience was 5 stars. Now I have a couch sitting in my driveway because I was not informed of or offered “white glove delivery”. I also had to call my sales person to schedule delivery as that wasn’t done at time of purchase even though it was discussed. Customer care was no help either. DO NOT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE FRUSTRATED. GO ELSEWHERE!

UPDATE : The local owner did reply to my review - which is very good ! He suggested that I send an email to his customer service (which i did the same day) - 1 week later not no reply at all! We have purchased a lot of furniture from Ashley’s over the years and we just bought a new master bedroom set. It arrived and some of the drawers a completely different color. I thought that this would be an easy fix. I called the store and was told I need to call the customer service line. They fist suggested I get a small rebate; I explained that having different colour drawers on a dresser looked terrible and a rebate was not an option. They then said they could try and send replacements but cannot guarantee I will get the right colour (really) so I said perhaps I should get a refund, I was told it would cost me a penalty (how is that possible?) I agreed to try getting a replacement, 8 weeks later they arrived and were also the wrong colour. I called back and was told I’m stuck with it. It’s too late for a refund and no discount will be given. So basically I have to buy another set and lose the $2500. The local Ashley store says they can’t do a thing, with the new ownership all customer service is handled by the main office. I know I could take them to court for breach of contract and I would win, but it’s honestly not worth the trouble and I will never buy from Ashley again and no one I know will either

We have dealt with Ashleys previouly spending thousands but this last experience will be our last. On finalizing the $1500 purchase the sales lady needed a sign off, the fellow that came did not acknowledge us, smile, or say hello, totally rude. The sales lady mislead us on delivery charging us for moving furniture & take away but it seems she 'forgot' to set up the delivery, we had to set it up. Although she gave us a card to contact her for any problems, we could not reach her by phone or email. At delivery we talked to a woman from Ashelys, working from home, judging by the back ground noise-she would not refund the full amount of the extra charge for moving items & take away, only a % of that amount. She would not answer questions & kept talking over me. This item was $200 cheaper on line but we went local for the 'extra' service which was a mistake, and finally, there was a tear in the under body material. The boys that delivered the unit were great. they checked with their boss who said there were no arrangements for moving items & take away & I'm sure looking at a mid 70's couple they felt bad not being able to help us. I have read several reviews on Ashleys & suspect their time in business may not be long, obvioulsy the 'newer' owners are not training staff well. A person would get better & cheaper service ordering on line.

I cannot stress enough how horrible this company is. Overpriced garbage that falls apart. The company is a NIGHTMARE to deal with. Their service staff are rude, aggressive and lack common sense. I wouldn't spend a dime of money at this store again and would caution anyone from dealing with them. Find a furniture company that actually stands behind the quality of their product.

Ordered 4 bars chairs, two correct chairs arrived of the 4 that I ordered. They forged my signature on the email document stating that I received all 4 bar stools. Still have the wrong chairs sitting in the box. Called customer care centre. After being passed around to 4 different people, I was told that my barstools are not in stock. The salesman told me there were 4 bar chairs in Vernon on purchase. I was offered a gift card with my “next purchase” from Ashley furniture. I was also told I would be charged a fee for returning the chairs. Do Not Shop Here!!!

Absolutely do NOT waste your money at this store. They do not stand by their products or services at all and the quality is garbage. I bought a sectional 4 years ago and purchased the extended 5 year furniture protection plan for $150 in the event of a stain or damage. Well sure enough my child vomited on the couch. I called the protection plan company and a week has gone by with no response. I called the Ashley store and they suggested I take off the fabric covers and wash them on gentle. When I did this I discovered the inside of the covers were very frayed with threads everywhere and after I washed them they look like they are falling apart with balls of thread tangled everywhere. Brought into the store and the manager told me it’s “normal”. He also told me they no longer deal with the furniture warranty company and it’s my problem now and to keep after them. Didn’t offer to help at all or compensate me. I will never buy furniture from Ashley ever again.

Worst experience ever. Ordered furniture arrived 1.5 months later, most pieces were damaged. Took another month for new items to arrive, damaged again and missing pieces. Customer service is beyond unacceptable. Offered a slap in the face as compensation. Do not buy a single thing from them.
