UPDATE – More than a month after posting this review, absolutely nothing has been resolved. Since posting my original review, I have continued trying to work directly with Ashley HomeStore in good faith. Despite multiple additional emails and follow ups, I continue to be ignored, dismissed, and passed around with no meaningful action taken. At this point, this issue has been ongoing for more than six months. What has been most disappointing is not only the declining quality of the furniture itself, but the complete lack of accountability after the sale. The extended warranty protection plan that I was strongly encouraged to purchase was presented as comprehensive coverage that would protect my investment should anything at all go wrong. Unfortunately, when multiple products began failing well within that coverage period, the support and service promised simply disappeared. I have now lost multiple days of work waiting for service appointments where no technician arrived, dealt with repeated last minute cancellations, and spent months attempting to get even basic communication from management. What has become abundantly clear is that nobody within the management structure, at any level including head office, appears to have either the autonomy or the desire to properly resolve this situation. For a customer who spent over $40,000 furnishing an entire home through Ashley, the level of disregard shown throughout this process has been extremely disappointing. No customer should have to fight this hard to have a company stand behind the products and warranty coverage they sold with such confidence at the time of purchase. As a result, I am now proceeding with escalating this matter through Global News Consumer Matters and will be participating in an interview regarding what I believe to be unethical, dishonest, and potentially unlawful business practices surrounding the sale and administration of these warranty products. I genuinely hoped this review would lead to resolution. Instead, more time has passed with no accountability, no urgency, and no solution.

Sale experience was good but the pickup was awful. We asked to have it go through the front door as I had experienced the delivery slipway previously. The warehouse person wasn’t agreeable to that and we had to go out back to get it. That space is dangerous and not fit for a vehicle to drive down. It is meant for a big truck. The warehouse person was not helpful and the walk around that delivery pit is very sketchy. Won’t be doing that again!!

We have had an extremely pleasant and stress free experience with everyone at Ashley HomeStore. Special shoutout to Hope who answered my initial call regarding the product I was looking for and got me in to check out some solid options that fit my budget. She was fantastic! :)
