I’ve always found the team from Ashley to be welcoming and easy to discuss furniture needs. Their selection, both in store and online, is very good and their pricing is very competitive. I’m looking forward to receiving my sofa and loveseat. Pictures are from the floor model.
Great experience today with our delivery. Communication was timely and accurate. Delivery service was efficient and friendly. Appreciated that they confirmed everything was where we wanted it and that they advised us of the 48 hour satisfaction policy.
Very good service. We came in for a couch and they did an order for us. W rare excited for our delivery.
If I could give 0 stars I would. They should be reported to BBB for fake 5 star reviews. Anytime there’s negative reviews within a couple of days they have a 5 star review to try to hide all of the real ones. We purchased a bed, two tables and a large painting from this store and we were going to buy more furniture to furnish our two bedroom suite however I will not be retuning to this location ever again. Upon unboxing the bed and putting it together, we noticed that sides of the bed were measured incorrectly, about 2.5 inches off on one side . The lady we spoke to on the phone told us that it was final sale and there’s nothing they could do. The service was horrible when we went in as well. The lady that helped us, Susan or something along those lines, didn’t know what she was doing and was extremely slow. There was a young African American man that helped speed things along as she was incapable. He was the only positive to this whole ordeal. Avoid this place at all cost and go to homesense or ANYWHERE else.
Our salesperson was attentive. Found it disappointing that the website was difficult to use and slow. Also the whole process for paying was very long and tedious with the use of two systems for invoices and payment processing.
I purchased a bedroom set from Ashley in Kelowna on Tuesday, February 24. During installation, I realized that the product had a manufacturing defect. After several conversations with Ashley furniture, I was unable to get any resolution. They did not provide any clear answers and, in the end, simply said there was nothing they could do. The person I spoke with could not provide a clear or convincing explanation. I am truly disappointed that I chose to buy from this store. I strongly recommend that others do not purchase from Ashley furniture, as their customer service is extremely poor and unprofessional.
Something has gone seriously wrong at this Ashley's location and I feel obligated to document it. A few weeks ago I bought a shelving unit here. My sales rep Palak was helpful enough, but before I left she pushed hard for a Google review. I said sure, walked out, and honestly forgot about it. A couple weeks later I came back to browse. The moment Palak saw me walk in, her face said everything her mouth didn't. Visibly annoyed. At a returning customer. Because I forgot to leave a Google review. Palak try learning poker face. Now here is where it gets interesting. Go look at the reviews for this location. Palak is specifically named in multiple negative reviews, and every single one says the same thing. And every time a bad review goes up, three glowing five-star reviews appear right after. Every time. That is not organic. And frankly, that is not a great look for a furniture store trying to build trust. This is what happens when sales reps stop chasing commissions and start chasing validation. Soliciting reviews is already a grey area. But making a customer feel unwelcome because their ego needed a five star score that never came? That is a completely different problem. That is personal. And customers notice. I work in real estate and write for a living. I recognize patterns. And I intend to write about this one. Sometimes people forget that customers talk, patterns get noticed, and actions have a way of catching up. This one already has. I will not be returning.
once the sale is completed, customer satisfaction is no longer a priority. Horrible customer service.
Rant. Purchased a new sofa from Ashley Furniture Kelowna and it was delivered damaged across the front. Called right away as per the delivery instructions (15 minutes after it was delivered) and Ashley furniture told us no replacement or refunds. They will order a new front and pull the sofa apart and repair it once the parts are received in approx 4 weeks. Save your money, and buy from a reputable furniture store. Not sure why we paid for delivery- they told us if we pay for them to deliver it, it covers any damages lol. They were happy to tell me to make sure we read store policies when it comes to buying furniture- they have the right to repair damage and defective pieces 🤣🤣 Trina Lynn
