Went to buy a custom upholstered chair there, 6-8 weeks as they send the chair away... seems a bit archaic but ok. We pick a swatch for the chair, they tell us a few days later it's out of print... ok. We go back and pick another swatch, they guarantee us that these swatches have all been vetted. A few days later they call us and tell us THAT swatch is out of print as well, but that they'd like to offer me a $100 credit for the inconvenience. After talking with my wife, we decided to refund the chair, as we couldn't find a swatch we liked, so we did, but they refused to honor the $100 credit. This mystifies me: a) I was still inconvenienced (more so even now) and b) the $100 credit is in there interest to get me to buy more stuff, so again, just a really poor decision, showing that they don't care about return customers. I find it really hard to believe we picked the ONLY TWO swatches (out of hundreds) that we're out of print, I even showed up there once around noon and the open sign was off the sale banner had fallen down. Staff is nice enough but the level of unprofessionalism left from the experience has really tainted my desire to want to go back. In this day and age, there should be a better focus on customer satisfaction and due diligence with your work.
