I visited the Coquitlam branch today, and Elias assisted me. He was very friendly and helpful. It was a good experience.

Purchased a queen sofa bed from Ashley Langley. Our salesperson was great and organized all the details. The poor service came in the delivery. Arranging the delivery was very frustrating. My husband has many medical appointments, so mid week days are very difficult to plan for a 3 hour window time for delivery. We received an email/text for the date of delivery but would not receive the window of time until the night before. When I phoned to see if we could re schedule to a Saturday, I was told they do not deliver on Saturdays to White Rock, yet just across the street in Surrey, they do??? So we stuck with the mid week delivery and I requested a delivery time around 3:00pm. They said they would do their best. Then the day of the delivery we received an approximate delivery time of 2:56pm, I thought great, they have accommodated us! Unfortunately, while waiting for my husband to finish his appointment, at 1:10pm, they tell us they are 15mins away, while we were still 40mins away. So they did not even hit the 3 hour window or anywhere near the requested time. We had to have it accepted by someone else, and they told us they couldn’t put it in the room we wanted it in, it did not fit, yet, I believe they just didn’t want to manoeuvre down the stairwell, and made an excuse to complete the job quickly. I paid for white glove service for no reason! The room they placed it in could have been easily done by ourselves without the added expense! Not a happy consumer!

Horrible customer service. I confirmed an order to be picked up and drove over an hour to the warehouse. I was told when I arrived that it wasn’t there and might be there in a few hours. I spoke with customer service and they told me they could possibly deliver in a week. I drove to the Coquitlam location and spoke to the manager Mohsen who couldn’t help me. I wasted hours driving due to the incompetence of the company. I would suggest never dealing with them.

Horrible customer service the most disorganized imaginable. I drove for over an hour to pick up furniture from their distribution warehouse after confirmation it was ready for pick up. I was told it might be there in a few hours, I called customer service to organize a delivery and was told it would be at least a week. I put the lady at the warehouse on speaker to talk to customer service and they had an argument about whose fault it was. I stopped in the Coquitlam store and spoke with the manager Mohsen to get a refund or prompt delivery, he said he couldn’t do anything.

I had a terrible experience with Ashley Furniture. I purchased a dining table with four chairs and was told I could pick up my order on a Sunday. However, nobody informed us that their pickup location is closed on Sundays and Mondays. We drove all the way to Surrey, which is very far from our home, only to find out the location was closed. We had to go back to the store to reschedule the pickup. Then, on the new delivery date, they changed our scheduled time without informing us and delivered the order at a time that suited them, not us. This forced us to take two extra days off work, causing financial loss. Ashley Furniture’s lack of communication and disregard for their customers’ time is unacceptable. This experience was frustrating, costly, and completely unprofessional. I will never shop at Ashley again and strongly advise others to avoid them.
