😅 Funny Fact about Ashley: I had a very disappointing experience at Ashley. The bedding set I purchased was of poor quality, and the customer service was just as bad. The staff work on commission and were dishonest just to make a sale. What’s worse, even the manager backed their misleading claims instead of resolving the issue. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. After I left a review Company sent someone to check to see what is our issue, to my surprise they said you're right Ashley doesn't make good stuff, and our quality recently suckes , everyone complained, and I said then what is next, she said I am sorry can't help more , and they left without any compensation. Don't buy from them, money doesn't grow on trees , it's hard to save these days then some people with lies take all your hard work . So sad
We were well treated. price vs quality seems good. We suggest that sellers be trained about products specifications. I was very disappointed about finalizing the sale without actually explaining all costs. We felt a bit violated. Luckily enough we are confident enough to ask questions but we know some poeple that aren’t, would definitely fall into your trap. We suggest more transparency about extra costs, like insurance products repair or replacement.
Arrived at the store this morning (Tuesday) I truly think there was only one other set of customers but lots of staff , I remember thinking “my goodness , lots of employees “. No one greeted me and no one offered to help me. I sat on several chairs and love seats on both floors. I found two that interested me. I went to the desk to inquire about the delivery details but the lady at the desk was on a tablet. She didn’t acknowledge me . I waited a minute or two then wondered back to the chair that was on the main floor again , no one approached me to see if I needed service. I decided to leave and continue my search but took pictures so I could phone to inquire about delivery when I got home. As I left there were two sales clerk near the exit having a friendly conversation with each other. I believe one of them nodded at me. The next stop was a block away and totally different sales associates. Friendly , at least 3 greeted me , they were so helpful and wrote down all the information that I asked about. I was still keen on the love seat I saw at Ashley’s so I called them to inquire. After talking to the gentleman on the phone for five minutes, I realized Ashley was not for me. Pitty because I did like the loveseat. I would never recommend this store to anyone.
GAWD!! I hate my couch that I purchased from Ashley Furniture. When we received it it was not what we had seen in the showroom or as advertised on Facebook. The back pillows did not line up, the seams across all the back cushions looked pulled and not even, it just really looked like a rush job. We put a claim in and they sent material and when the technician came in all she did was rearrange the stuffing from the back which did nothing to correct the issues. I was then told that this was up to manufacturers code and I was being picky. So disappointed as we took our time to find the one that we wanted and now we really hate looking at it. We did not think we needed the purchase insurance ($300) as it was brand new and would be in a room that was not used very much. Surprise!! So at this point nothing can or will be done and we are stuck with a poor quality couch. Never will shop there again. Buyer Beware!! EDIT: Rose has reached out to me in a very timely manner and we are working on a resolve. I am very impressed with her willingness to work with us and to give us a choice on a replacement or exchange. While our original experience was not the greatest, thanks to her follow up it is turning into a more positive experience. This is customer service.

Had a great experience at Ashley’s Furniture in Coquitlam. Prices were great and sales rep Bal Rana assisted us. She was not only professional but also very personable and took the time to ensure our needs were met. Ask for Bal if you go there!
We bought a couch here that is more comfortable and cheaper than their competitors. Their friendly staff got us the couch we wanted, in the color we wanted, and with the pillows we wanted even though they usually did not come with the couch we ordered. Delivery was also faster than we expected, we were quoted 4-5 weeks for delivery and it was delivered in exactly 3 weeks. I'll be back here for more furniture for sure!
Sama is very professional in her work and can be a good guide for customers . She is very kind and patient. Thanks Sama❤️
🚨⭐️ If I could give zero stars, I would. I’m beyond disappointed with Ashley. My order was delivered on September 13th, and since then, I’ve been stuck in a nightmare of neglect. Their customer service has done absolutely nothing to address the serious issues I’ve raised—despite multiple attempts to get help. No follow-up, no resolution, not even the courtesy of a meaningful response. The product itself is unacceptable. The drawers are defective and don’t open or close properly, which makes the furniture practically unusable. But the worst part? The overwhelming chemical smell. It’s so strong and persistent that it’s affecting my home environment and my family’s health. I’ve aired it out, tried everything, and it still lingers. It’s not just unpleasant—it’s alarming. Because of the smell, we’ve had to sleep in the living room for the past two weeks. That’s how bad it is. After all that, Ashley finally sent a technician—not to fix anything, but just to “verify” the smell. Now we’re stuck waiting again, with no timeline, no action, and no clarity on when they’ll even read the technician’s single-page report. It’s insulting how little urgency they’ve shown. I’ll be updating this review with how long it actually takes to get this toxic furniture out of my house. But based on their track record so far, I’m not holding my breath. Save yourself the stress. Shop elsewhere. 🚨updates: I wrote a review 7 days ago and finally got a phone call. But before that, I sent emails for 2 weeks—no response. Only the public review worked. That says a lot. We asked for a full return of the bedroom set. They agreed to take back the bedframe, mirror, and nightstand—but they still refuse to take the mattress. They say it’s “final sale.” That’s a lie. The salesperson told us we could return it if it wasn’t comfortable. There was NO sign in the store, NO mention on the receipt. Nothing. We want to return everything and go somewhere else. We don’t want to deal with Ashley anymore. It’s been 25 days. The furniture is still in our house affecting our health . We’re still waiting for real action.
