We made a large purchase from Ashley Furniture including a living room set, two bedroom sets (one for my spouse and me, one for our daughter), a study desk, a rug, and a full dining table set. I want to clearly state that the only positive part of this experience was Matin, the salesperson who helped us in-store. He was polite, patient, and professional. Unfortunately, everything after delivery was a complete failure. On delivery day, the dining table arrived broken, the drawers of our bed were broken, and one of the dining chairs was delivered with a noticeable yellow stain and was clearly dirty. What makes this worse is that Ashley’s own delivery driver took photos of the damaged items on the spot, sent them to customer service and his manager, and even spoke to them by phone that same day. Since then, we have contacted Ashley multiple times. We were repeatedly told to send photos — which we did. Now more than one month has passed, and we have received no resolution, no follow-up, and no accountability. This level of customer service is unacceptable, especially for a company with Ashley’s prices and reputation. Once payment is made, the customer is clearly no longer a priority. Aside from the salesperson Matin, this has been a deeply disappointing experience, and at this point, a public response and clear resolution from Ashley Furniture is expected

While the in store shopping experience was fine, we are incredibly disappointed with the quality and customer service on the back end. Our dresser was delivered damaged two weeks ago and the damage is very clearly from the manufacturing process indicating a lack of quality control. Since then, we had to wait one week for them to pick up the broken dresser with a promise that either the repaired dresser or a new one will be delivered the following week. Today, the day before the replacement dresser was to be delivered and after we have confirmed a delivery window the delivery gets cancelled and we are told that someone will be in touch at some point with an update. We paid a premium price for what we assumed would be a premium product and are incredibly disappointed with quality and service. This situation and the waiting around has been incredibly frustrating and inconvenient. The customer support help center did nothing to help expedite a resolution. This is certainly the last time we shop with Ashley’s furniture.

This is the first retail store I have come across that has a return policy of 48 hours, this feels predatory since furniture purchases are typically expensive. Went in with my family to find a couch for my parents, they loved a couch and the storage ottoman they showed us. We got sent the wrong ottoman (no storage) and since its passed the *ridiculous* return period of 48H we are playing a back and forth between the store and customer service. It honestly seems like they push all customers issues to each other and don't prioritize trying to take care of the customer needs. 2 stars because the rest of the sectional is nice and my parents are enjoying it.
