Very poor customer service. I’ve purchased many items from this store in the past, but recently its become a bad experience. The Langley location is NIGHT and DAY compared to the Abbotsford store. Wont ever be going back.
Great service Jot, very helpful!! Highly recommend. Thank you so much!!
WHAT EVER YOU DO DON’T BUY FURNITURE FROM THIS BUSINESS!! They are worse than used car salesmen. I can honestly say it was the worst customer service from the sales person right to the store manager. Even if you have to pay a bit more somewhere else, it won’t be worth the savings….trust me!
** NOTE: Their replies to reviews show how little they care. "You can text us at this number." Not, "We want to make this right. Here's your delivery fee refunded. We will speak to the people at the store about their lack of professionalism." What a joke!!! My family and I purchased two chairs and a couch in the last two months from the Ashley store in Abbotsford. The delivery people (three different sets) were all super professional and an absolute pleasure to deal with. They're a credit to the company. We also really like our furniture. However, the experience within the Abbotsford store itself had several issues. I won't name names, but one salesman with a huge, pretentious watch, was not the best to deal with. He was like a used car salesman. As soon as the purchase was made, he was very clear that he wanted nothing more to do with us. The manager also didn't care when we reported an issue with one of our items. The same salesman later circled like a shark around two friends of mine who came in to shop, to the point where they left without making a purchase. He brought over the manager for some reason, and he also pressured them. The whole exchanged made them so uncomfortable! Ashley lost a sale of over $4000, as they shopped elsewhere. When we came in to buy a second chair, we dealt with a young lady who didn't have a clue - not how to use the tablets they have, not what the colour burgundy was - nothing. She forgot to charge me for delivery and had to call me to add it on later. There was a second young lady at the counter who was super unprofessional, in both her appearance and her manner (condescending). If I hadn't wanted the chair so much, I would have left. Worst of all, when I came back to pay for the delivery fee, a salesman at the front counter was on a zoom call, loudly sharing **private information about employees** where my friend and I could clearly hear! He talked about one person's mental health, and how another had rescinded their resignation. When we pointed out how unprofessional he was behaving, he was very condescending to us. We were appalled - he should not be sharing private information where customers can hear it! Imagine if your personal information was shared in front of strangers! This store has some major issues with personnel, and if I were to need furniture in the future, I might consider Ashley, but not from this location. A delivery person told us that Ashley used to be a family owned business, and now it has been sold and is corporate. The level of customer service and pride in their product and customer experience has gone downhill.
Manjeet was very helpful in finding a new dresser for myself!
I spent hours here looking for furniture to furnish my house. They told me they would sell me the couch I liked for a floor model price. And when I went back to sign and complete paperwork they said they no longer wanted to sell it as a floor model after I spend hours deciding on it. Really disappointed with the service. Especially disappointed in the character of the people who work there.
Jot was very knowledgeable about the products and she helped us decide
Its a nice store and they have nice stuff. I couldn't look around because the sales woman was very pushy and wouldn't give me personal space to just browse, even I mentioned twice that its my first time in your store and just wanted to see what you have and I will ask if I need help thank you. Some times people need to see first to get ideas for furnishing a new place. I left after 5 mins.
Shop here if you never want to actually get your furniture. Ordered a love seat and couch in April. Love seat was delivered 2 weeks later and we were told the couch would be 6-8 weeks (from purchase date) Here we are months later then we ever should be and not sure if we will ever get the matching couch to our love seat. For anyone that chooses to follow along, I received the message below which claims to be from the owner, although it’s a different name than has responded to other negative posts here Update They say it’ll be OCTOBER before i get my couch I have been waiting over 2 months longer then originally promised and now they want me to wait another 2 & 1/2 months. Are they for real? 6+ months to get a couch they said would be 6-8 weeks. I’ve asked them to come pick up the love seat and cancel the order this is just ridiculous!
The furniture was great. Everything else has been an absolute nightmare. I cannot get a call back. My deliveries kept getting cancelled. I was promised a $100 credit for my troubles. Now I look at my card and have a charge for $800.
