Austin was excellent to deal with.

First time Ashley shoppers we spent nearly $15,000 on new furniture in January to furnish both levels of our home. Our in-store sales representative, Troy, was excellent — unfortunately, everything after the sale was extremely frustrating. We purchased on January 4 and were initially told delivery would be January 18. After payment, the date changed to February 10. Four days before delivery, I called to confirm and learned that only 11 of our 16 items would arrive. We received part of our order and were told the remaining items would come February 21 — another delay. On February 11, we purchased two additional consoles and were told they would be available for pickup the next day. After no call, I followed up and was told they had not arrived and were now expected the following Wednesday. Meanwhile, I discovered that several of our original items had already been sitting in the Calgary warehouse — despite being told they would not arrive there until later. To avoid waiting another 11 days, we chose to pick up the remaining items ourselves. It took multiple calls to both the store and distribution centre just to get clear information. We were told two items were unavailable for pickup, three were available, and then — while we were driving to the warehouse — we received a call that all five items were suddenly ready. The entire process was disorganized and chaotic. At no point did anyone proactively communicate updates, coordinate the order, or offer solutions. For a purchase of this size, the lack of organization and customer service was shocking. We spoke with the store about compensation for delivery fees due to the delays and confusion, but no one has followed up or offered any resolution. Great salesperson, but the logistics, communication, and post-purchase service were extremely disappointing. I hope the company will take this feedback seriously and work to make this right.

The sales representative at Ashley Furniture was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. There was absolutely no pressure during the visit, and the sales experience was smooth and comfortable. Pricing was excellent as well. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.

Shopping for a bed recently and went to 6 different locations in Red Deer. Brendan was the only salesperson to take the time to really listen to our needs and wants. He didn’t try to only steer us to the most expensive products on the floor (2 places did) or just point at the mattresses and say there they are (2 other places), but listened to us and worked to find the correct product that was right for us. He explained details to us and would look things up to ensure accuracy when we had questions and he wasn’t sure. We got a great deal from him and he has now become my go to furniture guy and Ashley’s is the store because of him. We truly feel that Brendan and Ashley’s delivered a quality piece at a fair price.

I mentioned to my salesman Troy, what I was looking for, he showed me some great choices, and he knew I was on a budget. I needed to furnish two rooms, there was no pressure. I took my time, he had patients with me, and the manager found me the colour I wanted. Everything worked out great! Thank you!
