I have non stop issues with the store. I have bought my appliance there and have had nothing but issues. Not there fault if the appliance are breaking, but it is there fault with customer service I had a really good kitchen aid fridge, ice machine wasn’t working and neither was the water. Had to wait over a month for them to send someone from Calgary ( because we have no one in Medicine Hat to help?) then found out it wasn’t repairable, and needed a new fridge. Fine we had the extended warranty. Except that doesn’t replace the fridge you have and if you wanted the fridge similar to what we had, it would cost us 2000 more. So we went with a cheaper fridge, didn’t get money back but an “ in store credit” which was super frustrating because I didn’t want to deal with them again ( employees didn’t know how to work with warranty at all) On top of it all the freezer door on new fridge we got now doesn’t seal and needs to be fixed. Once again we wait as I put weights against the door to seal it. Again we. have had for this fridge for 3 months Then our whirlpool dishwasher breaks, outside of the warranty. So because I have this credit with Ashley I went back. It was a pleasant experience when I was in there and went with a dishwasher we could have by Friday or latest, Saturday. ( 4 days later) 2 days later I get a text that it’s ready for pickup in CALGARY! , I live in Medicine Hat. Call customer service to fix this, they say we can’t pick it up from the Ashley store in Medicine Hat for another 10 days. What? How was I told one thing and then this happens. Either employees aren’t being trained properly or they don’t actually care I will be very thankful when I no longer need to deal with this store.

Ordered a lamp in Sept told it would be 6-8 weeks. Left country in Nov. Arrived back in Feb. Checked with store & was rudely told to wait as they were busy placing an order. After a 20 min wait they checked & item was not in. Told they would contact us Monday. No contact. We called Customer care on Tuesday & they said item was in Medicine Hat. We could pick up Wednesday. Pick up after much interrogation & was told that item was there when we checked on Sunday!
To be honest I was going it to just look. I thought it would be out of my price range. But I had a very sweet lady help me. She found some of what I was shopping for. Dish washer. Stove, upright freezer and two love seat. I was very impressed with how I was taken care of and my mom thought the same. The manager was very helpful in do the best they could do for me and I thank them very much. I will definitely recommend the Medicine Hat store to everyone I know is looking for house hold items.
