UPDATE ADDED** The store did reach out to me and were very apologetic and explained the situation. They did agree that there was some misinformation around the price match and offered to honour the price match. I really appreciated them reaching out, the gentleman I spoke to was very helpful. I have changed my rating to 4 stars. One star because I do actually like the couches, the experience of dealing with Ashley was so terrible I can’t recommend buying from them. The whole scheduling delivery system was a headache to use, but more of just a nuisance than a bad experience. Two days before my scheduled delivery I called to ask a question and was informed that my couches would not be delivered because they were no longer in stock. I specifically asked when I purchased them if they were in stock and they assured me they were. I didn’t actually get a notification from the company until the morning of scheduled delivery. If I had not called them myself I would have made arrangements to get rid of my old couches and the new couches would not have been delivered and I would have had no couches for Christmas. I ended up having to wait almost two months for my couches. I was also told at purchase that I would be able to price match until January (I purchased end of November) so if the couches went on Boxing Day sale, I would be able to get the sale price. The salesperson specifically said this to me. When I called on December 31 to get the sale price, I was told I didn’t qualify because because the price match is only for 30 days. Which is not what I was told in the store. I looked at the receipt and the receipt actually says I can price match for 60 days but it excludes the Boxing Day sale. Clearly nobody working there actually knows the policy because I was told something different from everyone.

The whole experience of buying loveseats from Ashley's was quick and painless! Jenny, the sales person, was delightful and very helpful - particularly in finding a second loveseat for us. The delivery men were quick and pleasant, they were happy to move the furniture to where we wanted it. Very impressed with the way we were kept informed about the delivery - well done
