I came in looking for a sofa within a specific price range and was greeted by Bhaveesh, who was incredibly friendly. Unlike other stores, he showed me the full materials and construction of the couch without any pressure. He respected my budget and made the purchase process easy.
They have decent products and our purchase experience was good, but our sofa was delivered damaged. When we reached out to store in less than 12 hours, we were told we have to go through customer service. When we reached out to customer service, we had the worst experience. Their customer service people are rude and throw terms and conditions at you. Despite delivering faulty item, they refused replacing and told us they have repair over replace policy, so they will repair our Brand New $5000+ sofa after delivering it damaged, but not give us a new non-damaged item. Would you pay full price for a refurbished item? I would not. So why am I forced to keep damaged item, to be repaired, after paying full price, I can’t understand. They have a refund policy for within 48 hours, which we were, but beware it is only 90% refund + 10% store credit (would you use that store credit after this kind of experience with Ashley! No, thank you) and you also have to pay pick-up fee. When I bought sofa, I thought this refund policy is for people who get things delivered but then don’t like them and want to return. In those cases, the policy seems fair, but not when they deliver a faulty product. So, at the end, assuming they repair it as promised, we will have a refurbished item for full price from Ashley Furniture. Worst experience and would not buy from them again.
