Ashley Furniture delivered one of the worst customer service experiences we have ever had. We received a damaged sofa on the day it was delivered. The delivery was in the afternoon, and we contacted customer service that very same evening—within hours of receiving it—to report the damage. Any reputable company would have replaced a product that arrived damaged. Instead, Ashley told us to file a damage claim, making us go through a lengthy process for a problem that was entirely their responsibility. The claim process was exhausting. It took more than 15 days, multiple phone calls, and constant follow-ups before Ashley finally acknowledged that the sofa had arrived damaged. As customers, we should never have had to fight this hard to prove that a brand-new product was defective. We purchased this sofa in May. After weeks of waiting, we were informed that only the damaged section would be replaced and that parts had to be ordered. We finally received a call to schedule the repair, only to be told that the earliest available appointment is in August. That means we will have lived with a damaged, brand-new sofa for nearly three months because of Ashley’s inability to resolve an issue they created. To make matters even worse, Ashley offered us only one appointment date with no flexibility whatsoever. We explained multiple times that both my husband and I work and that no one would be home that day, but we were simply told there were no other options. Now I have to take a day off work just so Ashley can repair a sofa that should never have been delivered in damaged condition in the first place. Buying furniture for a new home should be exciting. Instead, Ashley turned it into months of frustration, endless phone calls, unnecessary paperwork, and wasted time. The most disappointing part isn’t that we received a damaged sofa—mistakes happen. It’s how Ashley chose to handle the situation. They showed no sense of urgency, no accountability, and no respect for our time as customers. If you’re considering purchasing from Ashley Furniture, be aware that if your order arrives damaged, you may be left navigating a slow, frustrating, and exhausting claims process instead of receiving the customer service you would reasonably expect. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Ashley Furniture.

Inder was incredibly helpful and patient. He even came in on his day off to help us out. He walked us through everything and made sure we understood completely and were happy with our choices before making our purchase. I have furniture for Ashley that’s lasted 10 years and I am extremely happy with our shopping experience again today. 10/10 rec Inder as your sales associate.

​We recently purchased a couch with Inderveer’s help, and while the initial piece unfortunately arrived damaged, Inderveer completely saved the day. Instead of leaving us to deal with customer service loops, he took full ownership of the situation. He went above and beyond, working his way through the process to ensure we got a seamless exchange for a different couch. ​It’s rare to find this level of post-sale dedication. Inderveer didn’t just care about making the sale; he cared about making sure we were actually happy customers.
