We had purchased several items, a reclining couch, Entertainment Unit and kitchen table and chairs. Ajit is an excellent sales associate he was great with us and our daughter. As well as the general manager. However he stated it would take about 3 weeks for our items. It actually took over 2 months, then we had delivery issues. The company that delivered our items are unprofessional and unfriendly. They had forgotten our couch with the rest of the items. They refused to put it in our front door. Leaving the items outside. When they came back with the couch my son had to put it in the house. The box was completely damaged. I'm praying the couch is ok!. They told me there's no way the couch will fit in our door and we would have to take it out of the box. My son and I were able to do it no problem. I have included the pictures of the damage. I will update once I see condition of the couch. I contacted customer service about the missing item to be told by 1 lady it said "it was delivered!" Well it wasn't. She also asked for the product number. Ummmmm don't you see my order?? Theres only 1 couch. She obviously didn't know how to do her job. So I hung up and called again, the gentleman I spoke with was kind and although he kept agreeing with my concerns he just said he was sorry and did not offer us any solutions or how we were going to rectify the situation. He just continued to tell me he was sorry regergating what I was saying. So nothing was done to make me feel confident this was going to be fixed. He was done for the day in "2 minutes". Well finally an hour later we got the couch. There is absolutely no customer service.
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience with Ashley Furniture, especially concerning the overpriced insurance I was persuaded to purchase with my leather couch. I’ve owned the couch for a while, and it has developed obvious scratches, clear discolouration, and ripped stitching—damage that is impossible to dismiss, especially on leather. What makes this situation worse is that, at the time of purchase, I was explicitly told that the insurance would cover issues exactly like this, including replacement if necessary. That promise was a major reason I agreed to pay extra for coverage. Now that I am trying to use the insurance I paid for, I’m suddenly being told the damage is “minimal,” which is simply not true and feels like an intentional attempt to avoid honouring the coverage. The entire process has been incredibly unprofessional. The dismissive attitude, the lack of accountability, and the refusal to acknowledge obvious damage all point to a system designed to collect insurance payments rather than provide any actual support to customers. It’s extremely disappointing to see a major company operate this way. I expected honesty and reliability, but instead I received evasive answers, inconsistent information, and no real help. Based on this experience, I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting Ashley Furniture’s insurance or customer service. My experience has been nothing but frustrating, disappointing, and a complete waste of money.

Hello I was shopping recently for a mattress, bedroom furniture, couch and recliner chair. I genuinely appreciate the care Sonam put into making my experience as enjoyable as possible. I was given information about every product that I requested and offered the best price available. I took time to understand the warranties and actually made an educated insurance protected decision where I can apply the credit in the future if unutilized. I got a great deal and was shown financing options so that I can spread the costs over a 2 year period. The location in Edmonton South common is first class for service based on my experience and I couldn't be more happy with my visit today! The power reclining loveseat, chair and new dining set are very well made and I love them and the white glove delivery team was amazing! 🤩
