We recently purchased our first Tempurpedic bed from Vineet Arora. We found him to be very knowledgeable about the product and he made helpful suggestions to address our specific needs. He helped us to get the right product at a good price while working with Ashley promos for our benefit. We have already recommended him to others!

Went into the store on Saturday/Sunday, spent about $7,500, and was helped by a newer seller. Delivery was booked for Friday, and I was told I didn’t need to contact anyone because the delivery department would reach out. Perfect. Except Friday shows up and no one contacts me at all. I call them, and they tell me they “had the wrong number on file” and that I “missed my delivery.” Turns out the number was written down incorrectly. Their solution? Push my delivery an entire week. Fine. I also paid extra for white glove service about a week in advance, and they told me it was all good. Throughout the week, I get a few texts confirming the time. I check the invoice, several items I paid for aren’t even listed. I call again. They apologize again. They submit a “request” for all my items to be shipped, two days before delivery. No confirmation that everything would actually show up. Delivery day arrives. My girlfriend takes time off work (loses income) to be home. By now, it’s obvious the company is completely disorganized and can’t keep track of their own paperwork, so I call once more to confirm everything. And guess what? They never added the white-glove service I paid for. They contact the shipping manager, who basically says: “Too bad. We’re not honouring it. We’ll dump it in the driveway. Not our problem the other parts of the company have messed up, we don’t care how your girlfriend is supposed to get it inside.” (Paraphrased, but that’s the message I’m receiving). So after two weeks of back and forth missed deliveries, wrong numbers, missing items, incorrect invoices, and zero accountability, their final stance was essentially: “We don’t care.” Easily one of the worst customer service and logistics experiences I’ve had. I’d cancel the entire order and get a refund, but my girlfriend has already gone two weeks without furniture, so at this point canceling only punishes her. For the record: – The South Edmonton store was fine. – Carl in customer care was great. – The shipping department is a mess and clearly doesn’t care about customers. I had another 15,000$ of items selected I planned on purchasing, all ready in my cart. NOT A CHANCE NOW. TL;DR: Don’t bother with their delivery or white glove service. Use a third party or rent a truck. Their communication between the store, call centre, and shipping is absolutely terrible.

I’ve purchased several furniture pieces from Ashley HomeStore in South Common over the years — a full sectional sofa set, a dining table with seven chairs, and a queen bedroom set. Although there were issues with those previous orders, everything was eventually sorted out. However, my recent experience buying the Lavinton King Bedroom Set (one king bed, two nightstands, and a dresser with mirror) has been extremely disappointing. I personally went to the warehouse to pick up the furniture because I had guests coming for a family function. When I opened the boxes, the bed package was missing the slats and legs, and the dresser with mirror had several missing parts. I ended up taking three days off work and even hired a van twice, which cost me a lot of money, just to deal with this situation. During those three days, I kept calling customer service and visiting the store to get help. When I met the store manager, she genuinely tried and worked hard to assist me, but even she didn’t know what to do because she needed approvals from several people and had to coordinate across departments. In the end, I personally went to the warehouse again and requested the staff to open new boxes and give me the missing parts, which thankfully worked — but it was all because of my own effort. Even after that, the bed I received had several marks and cuts, which was very disappointing. To make things worse, I had also placed an order to exchange one chaise and one single-seater for a two-seater side option in my large sectional sofa set within one hour of delivery, which is well within Ashley’s 48-hour exchange policy. Customer service confirmed the exchange was approved, but it has been since September 27, and I’m still waiting for the pieces to be picked up and replaced. I am truly frustrated, disappointed, and sad. After being a loyal repeat customer and spending thousands of dollars at Ashley, I expected far better service, accountability, and product quality.

Hello I was shopping recently for a mattress, bedroom furniture, couch and recliner chair. I genuinely appreciate the care Sonam put into making my experience as enjoyable as possible. I was given information about every product that I requested and offered the best price available. I took time to understand the warranties and actually made an educated insurance protected decision where I can apply the credit in the future if unutilized. I got a great deal and was shown financing options so that I can spread the costs over a 2 year period. The location in Edmonton South common is first class for service based on my experience and I couldn't be more happy with my visit today! Thank you for the exceptional service Sonam and I will certainly be in touch! Take care
