From the in-store purchase to the delivery everything was smooth at Ashley!! I really appreciated the efficient set up and making sure the couch was put into position and wouldn’t scratch our floors. As well as making sure there wouldn’t be any damage to the elevator or doorways. Thank you guys so much!!
I have bought many times from Ashley in the past and I recently bought a new sectional in August. I even bought the extra protection/warranty. The salesperson was great. The delivery was scheduled a couple of weeks later and when the couch arrived, one part of the sectional was broken. The left arm of the couch was crushed as though something had been laying on it for a long time or it was damaged during the delivery. Either way the left arm was snapped. The delivery guys notified me of the defect, actually. The delivery guy took a picture and called in to customer service. I was informed by the delivery guy that I would get a replacement. I called to schedule delivery of the replacement and was informed that no claim had been submitted. I submitted the missing claim and provided pictures. I was informed by email that someone would come out to assess because they needed more information. This was scheduled for Sept 4. When the Ashley rep came to the house, he said he was there to "fix the couch". I informed him I wanted a replacement because I did not purchase a broken couch. He reiterated Ashley's "repair over replace" policy. I understood this, but informed him that I did not purchase a broken couch. If I had purchased a broken couch, I would be grateful for a repair. The rep called customer service. I spoke with the customer service rep who gave me the same info about the policy. I indicated I would not accept a repair as I did not buy a broken couch and the couch arrived to my home broken. The customer service rep spoke to someone else and put me on hold. This happened twice. Again, after some time, the customer service rep told me the same thing and I stated I would not accept a repair because I did not purchase a broken couch. She then asked if I would be closing the file. I asked what happens then? She said nothing. I asked "so now you just wash your hands of this?" and the customer service rep replied "yes". I am quite appalled by how Ashley treats their loyal customers. Apparently, their policy is to deliver defective products and wash their hands of their customers complaints. I will not be purchasing from them again and I would discourage others from doing the same.
Our experience with Ashley & sales associate Donna . She understood our needs & had patience with us. Store policy could give alittle more time for pick up,even if its on clearance. A sale is a sale. Great experience.
The store looked welcoming.
I don’t recommend shopping here. They don’t keep promises and customer service won’t do anything for you.
Good customer care service
Ajit was great help we got the best couch through him
