Ashley Delived me the wrong size bed. But the delivery team told me at the time that it was a problem with my mattress and boxspring. They led me to think that it was oversized. I lived with it, left the footboard off because l could not afford a new boxspring and mattress. Fast forward later l thought it was odd no queen box spring l tried would fit. I phoned ashley to ask. They informed me 2 years later that they delivered me the wrong size bed not a Queen but a double. They said because it was 2 years later they could do nothing. Buyer beware. Or at least Delivery Aware. Check to see they dont mess up your Delivery.
Kevin was awesome definitely buy there again
Great experience with PJ and Austin. My wife and I were looking for a couch. PJ allowed us to wander around and didn't press us too hard and was ready with knowledge we needed him. He was able to answer any and all questions we had. Austin was helpful too ready to work with us on the financial end and they both were overall friendly down to earth gentleman.
Spent 4000 at Ashely furniture on a sectional. Within 24 hours noticed that the cushions were sinking, not as advertised, not similar to the demo. The framing under appeared to be loose causing the cushions to sink when you sat on them. Making them uneven across the sectional and very uncomfortable. Called customer service, asked to do a return or exchange. Was pushed towards a repair, it took months for this to happen. Ashely furniture would never reach out for an appointment, I’d contact again, they would act as though they had no record of me contacting in the first place. Stating I was no longer eligible for a return as it was outside of the 48 hours. When someone finally came out, they didn’t know about the repair and they were just instructed to bring a new cushion. THIS HAPPENED 3 TIMES. No one ever came out for a repair. We cancelled the remainder of our purchases from Ashely and will never shop there again.
Extremely disappointed with Ashley HomeStore’s handling of a warranty claim and billing error. In December 2023, I purchased furniture worth about $12,000 from the Ashley HomeStore at 88 Heritage Gate SE, Calgary. In September 2025, I made a claim for one damaged bed. I was told the bed could not be repaired or replaced with the same model, so customer service instructed me to go into the store and select another queen-size bed. At the store, I was clearly told my claim value was approximately $1,400, and I selected a bed within that amount. The new bed was delivered, and the old one was picked up the same day. At no point was I told there would be an additional charge or that the claim value might change. Months later, I suddenly received notices from Collections saying I owe $629.98. I was then told Ashley made an internal error in calculating the claim value and that I am now responsible for paying the difference. This was never communicated at the time of selection, and I acted in good faith based on information provided by Ashley staff. To make matters worse: No clear breakdown or explanation has been provided for how the $629.98 was calculated I was given a one week plus deadline from the day the letter got to me from collections. Customer service acknowledged the issue and said it would be fixed, yet Collections still contacted me Customers should not be held financially responsible for Ashley’s internal errors. This situation has caused unnecessary stress and has completely eroded my trust in this company. If anyone has information on consumer protection authorities, regulators, or agencies that can assist with this type of consumer dispute, please reach out. I am actively seeking guidance on how to escalate this matter appropriately. I am also considering filing formal complaints with Service Alberta’s Consumer Investigations Unit, the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and other applicable consumer protection agencies. I would not recommend Ashley HomeStore based on this experience.
It had been a great experience being back at Ashley. Mitra was very patient and was attentive towards our needs and did help us select the right furniture while Merc made our billing and checkout experience a breeze. The cherry on top was the loads of discounts we got on our purchases. Would aurely recommend the Ashley store at 64th Ave Deerfoot to anyone looking for some great furniture and pleasant experience.
Marco was incredible!! Super helpful and had amazing information that helped us make a decision. Highly recommend speaking with him if you are in the market for anything home related. Will be going back to purchase a bed frame from him in the near future!
