I went to the store of heritage gate with my daughter today to see some mattress and bed frames. The Maneger welcomed and assigned a sales person called Alex. He showed us some mattresses and beds as well including the adjustable base for the mattress. But as soon as he came to know that I have an employee purchase plan to buy directly from Ashley with discounted price, Alex asked how that will help him as salesperson as the sale will not count in his name. He confirmed with his manager and came back with his manager saying they can not help me any more and I should look online as online has more options than in store display. It was clear in their attitude and body language that they are wasted their time with me, but not any more It was really shocking and horrible customer service at this store of Ashley. They are only on generating sales. Do not care about service at all. At least that was my experience today. Will avoid to go to that store of Ashley in future as well ☹️🥹

I had a fantastic experience at Ashley Furniture. The selection was great and the quality of the pieces really stood out, but what made the visit exceptional was the customer service. I had an excellent experience at Ashley Furniture HomeStore, and a big part of that was because of the outstanding service provided by Joan, the Assistant Manager. From the moment we walked into the store, Joan made us feel welcome and comfortable. As first-time buyers at Ashley Furniture, we were not exactly sure what to look for or which pieces would best suit our home. Joan patiently guided us through the showroom and took the time to understand what we needed, our style preferences, and our budget. What truly stood out was how she shared her professional insights while helping us select our furniture. With her experience as an interior designer, she explained not just the features of the furniture but also how certain pieces would complement each other, how they would fit within a space, and what would work best for long-term comfort and aesthetics. I was welcome by one of the staff as soon as I walked in. I was looking for a couch and was assisted by Bryan my purchase and ended up getting and amazing deal on a couchand mattress. I really enjoyed my shopping experience.

Unfortunately, my experience with Ashley was not a great one. We had a very helpful and friendly sales associate that took a lot of time and care with us. James was great. But when my coffee table was delivered, it had some damage and streaks on the surface. It took 2 weeks for someone to come out and look at it and while the technician was trying to fix it, he kept arguing with me about how I shouldn't move the table into the light to see if the damage was still there. He acknowledged that the damage was there, but said if I couldn't see it in the room I was putting it in, it wouldn't matter. He was slightly condescending in his approach. They are also very strict about their 48 hour return policy, so be sure you submit your request right away. We bought some dining room chairs and they don't fit with the table (purchased from a different store) and they wouldn't even give a store credit. They have a good selection, but you can find better furniture, elsewhere, without the hassle.
