Had a great experience with Raval. He was very knowledgeable on the products and made sure we were getting the best deal. Will definitely go back and see him for any home furnishings.
My wife (Karen) and I had been to Ashley at this location on another date 2 years prior. We went in, were immediately approached asked what it was we were looking for, and from that point on, were not allowed to look on our own, so a quick lap, and out the door. Fast forward to this visit, entered the business and was greeted by Prince, who is also the manager, asked us what it was we were looking for, said if you have any questions flag him down. We shopped and looked at everything of interest to us, all without interruption, or obvious, blatant stalking. Made a selection, then had Prince give the information about the product, with vast knowledge of the piece. He was very courteous, informative and respectful , the best person we’ve dealt with in years, within furniture shops. Highly recommend seeing him, for furniture needs.
I had a very bad experience with Ashley. I purchased a bedding set, and after a month of waiting, I received the set in a light color with two nightstands in a different color! I went to the store and asked why the set wasn’t in one color. The salesperson said they would change it but that I would have to pay 10% restocking fee for returning the nightstands! After argument they agreed to order two new nightstands in light colors and return the other colors. After a week of waiting, I received only one nightstand, and it came without a box, heavily scratched, and damaged! I was expecting two nightstands but received only one. When I told the delivery persons that this was a used item and I didn’t want it, they refused to take it back, insisting it was new. I called customer service and was told I would have to pay a 10% restocking fee and that they don’t replace items but only repair them. I went back to the store, and the store manager ordered two new nightstands for me again. The next day, I called guest care to confirm the delivery date for two new nightstands, but I was told that my order was not accepted in their system and that I needed to speak to the store again. When I called the store, I was informed that because the damaged nightstand was still in my possession, they couldn’t order a new one for me, and waiting for the guest care to confirm the purchase of new ones. It’s been a week now, and I am still waiting for two nightstands. I have been going back and forth to the store (a half an hour drive each time), calling guest care multiple times daily, wasting my time, arguing, and asking for the nightstands—with no results! I am very disappointed and stressful with the poor service and lack of accountability from Ashley Home Store and their customer care! I do not recommend Ashley to anyone!
First time visiting this store. We went in looking for a few different items. As soon as we entered, Ginger immediately greeted us and we had an instant rapport. She was very knowledgeable and helped us find exactly what we wanted. During the same visit, Prince assisted when we got stuck on a colour issue and was very helpful. We are now the proud owners of a true Hide-a-bed as well as a reclining couch and live seat. Highly recommend and will be back ourselves.
