Everything is ok
Honestly, we love Ashley and have purchased all our furniture from them. But this experience has been less than satisfactory. We purchased new dining room chairs, bar stools and a new mattress beginning of Aug. We were informed upon purchase that we would get everything end of Aug. - we were fine with that. We scheduled our first delivery, it was postponed. Our dining room chairs are delayed. We scheduled a second delivery. Days before the delivery we get a call saying the dining room chairs won’t be in until end of Oct! So I said still bring the mattress and bar stools. Today the driver shows up and the bar stools have a blue stain all over them….. I refused them. Now we have to order a new set and wait for them, along with the dining room chairs that are going to be 2 months late.
Our experienced at ashley furniture with Jerry was one of the most amazing and professional services we have ever encountered at a furniture store. We were very happy with the service provided by Jerry and we will recommend your store to everyone we know.
BUYER BEWARE. This is the lowest quality furniture we've ever purchased. Within a couple months of normal use, the main support beam on our bed frame completely snapped and the legs gave out. We came home exhausted from a trip and had to sleep on our couches instead of our own bed. My nephews have cheap dollar-store play toys that are more durable than this furniture. Do not waste your money here. UPDATE: Ashley's said they'll get us a replacement part in 2-4 WEEKS! Yes you heard that correctly, Ashley's told us to couch surf for a month.
It was an okay experience.
Although Tara’s service was excellent I am thoroughly disappointed with Ashley’s further service. Sadly, Ive come to realise that you’re only a customer to Ashley until the sale is completed. Once the sale is done, you’re a non-entity; just a number. Any follow up, is totally scuffed off and regardless of dissatisfaction with a product, Ashley just doesn’t care. They have your money and too bad so sad that the product which is made in Vietnam is of VERY poor quality. Guess I’ve learned my lesson. Certainly not shopping at Ashley again. I thought I was buying from a reputable CANADIAN company. No such luck. My advice, if you purchase an item at Ashley, when it’s delivered, ensure it’s in the proper condition. Even finding a defect a mere three days after delivery, will land you in hot water. Bottom line, Ashley doesn’t give two hoots about you once you’ve paid and are out of their door. So, be warned and be cautious. Also be very wary of their delivery dates. What is promised may not be the case. Again, I learned the hard way. So very disgruntled with Ashley.
