Prince was fabulous! Not pushy at all, which I appreciate. We bought a couch at a great price. I cant wait for it to be delivered. Paid a little extra for that and for it to be set up for us and packaging taken away. Fantastic experience all around. Thank you ☺️
Fast and fantastic. Answered all my questions. Took me straight to the sofa I was enquiring about. Was in and out in less than an hour. I hate shopping. Rae made this experience efficient, and dare I say, enjoyable. Will definitely be back.
I prefer to get the facts on the furniture and financing quickly. Sales person was spending a lot of time trying to get to know us and I hate wasting time. The no fees financing does come with 35$ fee payable when the furniture was delivered and in the subsequent years so it’s a bit of a lie that it’s no fees. I would have made the decision to buy anyways it’s just annoying to get past the I wanna be your best friend sales person tactics when I just want the facts. I don’t care about personal stories about the warranty when the warranty contract does not have specifics. When I go to use said warranty I’m sure I’ll be told those stories were never said and any issue I have is just wear and tear or excluded because I did something not covered because it’s at the sole discretion of Ashley furniture to honour repairs. Quality is in line with pricing. Value has eroded over the years but in today’s market it’s what it is. Don’t expect crate and barrel but it’s not crate and barrel prices. Four stars because like I said, prices reflect the it’s better than IKEA you are paying for. Lost a star for the run around on warranty and financing and using distractions by pretending you are my friend. Would I recommend to friends and family, not enthusiastically but wouldn’t say stay away. Update 1 The automated scheduling system for delivery doesnt really work, the day before delivery they decided another day in the future to deliver. The challenge is, most of us have jobs so we have to coordinate with our work to stay home for delivery. It not a spectacular customer experience to have to keep rescheduling my busy work days to hope that when I clear a day off that it wont just move at Ashleys convenience when I pay for white glove delivery. Oh well, I guess we got what we paid for on that as well. I suppose I should have hired my own crew to pick it up at the store. Might not be an issue for those that work from home. Update 2 Turns out they didnt have all of the pieces for the couch we bought, that wasnt disclosed when we bought it and when we scheduled delivery. Too bad we have no idea when they will be able to fulfill it. We keep making arrangements to take time off for delivery and then they cant figure it out. Its fine if its on back order if it was communicated to us when we bought, or if we had any idea when they might be able to get it to us. Part of our decision to buy the couch is we thought, outrageously in hindsight, that we would get to use the couch in our home instead of having empty floor. We have 48 hours to back out of the deal, which has long since past. They dont have to deliver the product to us because its now past 48 hours. Arent contracts that screw over your customers amazing for shareholder value! The positive thing is we didnt pay up front. Weird thing is I expect delivery of what I bought in a reasonable timeline, and in new undamaged condition. Dont expect to get what you paid for at Ashley. Its at their convenience, their AI makes a lot of mistakes. So glad you saved money on a human coordinator.
