Thank you to Ashley Furniture for delivering only half of my couch today and also not notifying me that I was only receiving half of my couch and marking my order as complete. I have to stay home a second day now for receipt of the other half of the couch. Thank you to the lovely customer service lady who helped me out.
I was looking for a new dining room suite. After seeing one online, my daughter suggested I should actually go to the store, sit in the chairs, and ensure the set was sturdy. There were many sets to choose from. As I was making my way through the store, sitting on the various chairs, Joan unobtrusively asked me to let her know if I needed any help. She let me continue to wander throughout the store. After I made one round, Padam approached me and advised that Joan had referred me to him. He inquired as to whether or not he could get me a coffee or a water. I politely declined and continued to make a second round. I sat on every chair and checked out every table. After my second round, Padam simply presented me with a bottle of water. I was rearranging the furniture around a table, so that I could send a photo to my daughter. Joan came and assisted me with moving the furniture. Padam told me he would give me a deal. My daughter approved and Padam gave me a deal. I was fully expecting to have to assemble the furniture once it arrived. My daughter wanted to ensure they would deliver it to my apartment and not leave it in the lobby. Padam advised that not only would they deliver it directly to my unit but would also assemble it for me. Colour me impressed!
