I am very disappointed with my experience with Ashley Furniture and the marble coffee table I purchased. I have owned this table for only three weeks. Recently, a small amount of liquid was accidentally spilled on the surface. I wiped it up within approximately 40–50 seconds, yet the spill left visible ring marks and removed part of the finish/polish on the table. Plus fingers natural oill stains table .For a table advertised and sold as a quality furniture piece, I would not expect such damage from such a brief exposure. I contacted customer service for assistance, but they refused to help. I was told that the table does not have a manufacturer's warranty, despite information online indicating that manufacturer warranties are available. This was frustrating and confusing. In addition, I found the customer service representative to be dismissive and unhelpful during our conversation. A coffee table should be able to withstand normal everyday use, including the occasional spill that is cleaned up immediately. After only three weeks of ownership, I am extremely disappointed with both the product quality and the lack of customer support. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this coffee table or the customer service I received from Ashley Furniture.
