My wife and I visited this store to shop for furniture, and we were assisted by Padam Bains. We were prepared to make a $17,000 purchase, and he explained that the Flexiti financing would initially reflect a $1,700 advance, with the remaining balance appearing only after delivery. However, later that evening, we discovered a $15,000 charge on our card. When I called him the next morning to clarify the issue, instead of listening and addressing my concerns, he became defensive, saying, 'So do you mean I am a liar or my company is lying?' This was completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. Not only were we rushed through the process without proper explanations, but the sales agent also made a financing decision on our behalf—choosing the payment term without consulting us. When we followed up with the manager, while he was somewhat reasonable to deal with, he failed to keep his promise to get back to us. This was the worst customer service experience we have ever had at a furniture store. The lack of transparency, respect, and accountability is appalling. We will never return to this store, and I strongly urge others to be cautious when dealing with them.

Such an incredibly disappointing experience. I have had Ashley furniture in my house and have referred many friends and family over the years. My mother in law was looking for a new couch and we brought her here to buy it. Upon receiving, she decided that it did not fit well in her space and she wanted to return. We made arrangements for pick up and were aware that there was no refund on the delivery fee and a restock charge. Normally this would not be an issue until we discovered that the price on the couch had dropped $300 in the week since it was purchased!! We talked to a rep at the store and he agreed that they would waive the restocking fee. The couch was picked up, but after 6 weeks, had still not been refunded to my credit card. We called the store and they referred us to the 1-800 number. After waiting on hold forever, I spent an hour on the phone while they checked into things and argued relentlessly about the restocking fee. Finally, they verified that they would refund minus the delivery fee and not charge the restocking fee. 3 weeks later I called back because I STILL did not have a refund and AGAIN had to spend an ungodly amount of time verifying that they were not going to charge a restocking fee. Each agent I spoke to was rude and dismissive until they spoke to their manager and verified with the store. Finally, 3 MONTHS after they had picked up the couch, the refund was processed and big surprise – they charged the restocking fee. I called to complain AGAIN and argue AGAIN and they agreed AGAIN to refund the fee. To this day, that fee has not been refunded. We are out $250 to Ashley Furniture and have NOTHING to show for it. Use extreme caution in buying furniture here – ensure you are 100% certain you will like it in your space because dealing with customer service is a nightmare.
