I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Ashley Furniture. I purchased a dining room table a few weeks ago, and within one week of delivery, the tabletop started peeling. I filed a claim, and a technician came to assess the issue. He confirmed it was a manufacturer defect. Customer service later contacted me and confirmed that the entire table would be replaced. When the delivery team arrived, they only brought the tabletop and told me the base was not on the truck. After they left, I immediately called customer service and was told that the entire table was supposed to be replaced and that they would look into the issue and call me back. No one called me back. I followed up a second time and again was told they were looking into it. Still no callback. On my third call today, the representative told me that only the tabletop was meant to be replaced and that I would need to start a new warranty claim for the base. This has been the worst customer service experience I have had. Calls are not documented properly, and every representative gives a different answer. When purchasing in store, the warranty is heavily promoted, but when you actually need to use it, the process is frustrating and poorly handled. I would not recommend Ashley Furniture based on my experience.

don't use their "white glove" delivery service. Read the fine print and don't expect any customer service after you give them your money!
The process to buy something in store was good (even though they pressure to buy extended warranties, mattress covers etc). But the "white glove" delivery was awful. The delivery guys could barely get up the stairs with items and one fell down a few stairs trying to carry a bed base (scratched up the walls and knocked a picture off the wall causing damage. When I mentioned it, they acted like nothing happened and lied (even though there were marks on the walls). The next time I ever have anything delivered to my home, I will record the entire time! These guys have no support or proper lifting technique to lift anything heavy, which is dangerous and careless. Upon dropping off our new mattress and electronic bed base, the delivery guys decided to set it up extremely high off the ground (which is unsafe and difficult to even access). When we requested that they lower the electric bed base legs, we were told they were too busy and had no time and to do it ourselves. We originally asked them to put it as low as it would go, but they refused didn't want to take the time to do so as it required taking two inner rails off our bed frame (and likely didn't want to lift the base again due to it being so heavy). I told them it was too high and needed to be lower (as I previously requested). The delivery team ended up leaving without finishing the full set up. They left garbage behind, damaged walls, and didn't bother to make sure anything worked, or even show us how to even use the product properly before leaving. We refused to sign anything, so they forged a signature and later sent us a copy. They left our front door wide open for a good period of time, until I asked them to please close it. I contacted the store (at the time of delivery, and again within an hour of delivery) and also contacted our sales guy (James) to try and remedy the situation. James said he would send out some emails and see what they could do. I woke up this morning to a text telling me they cancelled the delivery team to reposition the bed/frame (which previously was scheduled for free, two days later) and if I wanted them to come back out, I would have to pay the full delivery fee AGAIN. Before this text I was told I could return the items purchased but agreed to have another team come out a few days later to reposition the bed (it's too heavy for my husband and I to lift alone and the first delivery team should have done this before leaving (as per the customer service agent I first spoke to). I requested they just take the base and refund that portion of our purchase. They then slapped me with a $250.00 fee to pick it up plus a fee of 10% of the total cost to take it back (about a $500 loss). They're customer service is extremely awful after you make a purchase with zero support to fix issues. They flip flop back and forth a lot. Once they have your money, you're nothing to them (zero accountability for deliveries). I did purchase the extended warranty on the bed base, and a cover for the mattress. But I imagine, based on the level of service I just got, any warranty issues will be wild to deal with and I'm sure they'll have excuses as to why they won't cover or fix items (but we will see when the time comes). I have no faith in Ashley Furniture and will never shop here again! This issue could have easily been solved, and we would have been satisfied. But Ashley chose not to, and decided we weren't worth their time or effort unless we paid them more money. We already spent close to $6000.00. Please save your time and money and shop somewhere else that values you as a customer, not just a cash cow! Do not use their delivery service, it's simply not worth the money or hassle.
Prince was fantastic gave us our space let us browse and was available for any questions we had when it came time. Would highly recommend!
We had a wonderful experience. Prince was just very present without trying to pressure us into making a hasty decision.
